Thank you for making this video. It’s the most comprehensive one yet!
Thanks for the great demonstration of how to install the side mounted drawer slides. Now I am sure I will be able to do it myself.
Thanks for the video! Very helpful!
The wood my rear brackets screw into was higher than the jig level, so I added two inches of wood lying on the jig to adjust it. (In case anyone else runs into this)
As far as squaring the rear brackets, just use a carpenter's square to the drawer slide and the front of the cabinet box.
Thanks for an informative video in less than five minutes. Now I’m confident I will be able to fix the broken drawers in some used furniture I purchased!!
outstanding. Made it look easy which removed the fear factor for most people.
Simplest and most complete instructions online
How do you parallel the back of the slides! Ya never showed how ya did that. Not a very good video when ya leave out the most important part of the install
How do you set the distance from the cabinet wall properly?
Thank you so much very helpful and straightforward
Very easy to follow. Thanks!
Thank you. Sir, I been waiting for a video like this.
So before you make a drawer you have to buy the draw slider. So you can measure the draw slider together with the drawer so it fits in the cabinet. Am I right?
The slide frame is 1/8” longer than the cabinet frame, In other words the slide frame sticks out, almost hitting the drawer front, once the drawer has been closed. is it ok? If not, how do I shorten/cut off the end of the slide frame so it is flush with the cabinet frame?
Late, but the problem I'm having, is that I don't have that type of draw slide. I have the Richelieu side mount. Any suggestions
so my client got the slides like these one but didn’t get the brackets!!are dose come separately?? thanks much!
I’m trying to figure out how to get the bracket off the worn out drawer slide, so I can put it on the new drawer slide, but you didn’t address that, so no help to me.
How do you know when the rear brackets are in the correct position already?
Gerry, when they are correct, your slides should be both parallel and level.
Keith
Am I understanding that you don’t have to do any firing with this method?
My cabinets to not have “walls” between the doors, and this looks like much less work.
Thank you!
Only suggestion on the video is make the parts where you have tools going quieter for the split second- I listen with headphones and it made me have to adjust my sound through the video.
Thanks to guide us ...
What are the sliders you use and do the set come with the back brackets ?
What is that back bracket called? My slides didn't come with it.
Miss Scarlett,
If you are referring to the rear mounting bracket, I always recommend the “non-adjustable bracket” (item #518) as shown in the rear mounting bracket choices.
