Love these videos, you made me focus less on aesthetics and more on functional training for fighting, sport specific training has made me much happier and I'm having tons of fun, plus i can feel it helping in my everyday life too
These are some of the most effective/efficient exercises . The movements can be incorporated in real life. Do these and they will repay you back. Forever grateful to you Phil Daru.
Love the training Phil it's a real motivator. I've been laggin due to injury but your 📹 video's help get my mind right and speed my healing. I gotta train and i have started cycling thanks to my 🌞 sun. Thanks 2 all who train for a better life. Phil please keep punchin'em out.
explosive energy is created by speed, speed is more easily created by fast twitch muscle fibre. To gain fast twitch muscle fibre you must stretch out and make quick movements after each heavy set. Otherwise you will create slow twitch muscle fibre. One looks more detailed and ripped, and the other slow twitch muscle fibre looks more rounded with less individual muscle strands visable. Remember to perform fast twitch exercises after each heavy set. like jabs on a punch bag and quick kicks for your legs. Otherwise as you get bigger you will get much slower. IMPO
Never knew we had bkb in the UK, thought it was prohibited. Good luck jake on your home turf. Phil, excellent session as always. I appreciate the thought that goes onto your protocols: attention to muscle activation prior to main exercises is something many trainers miss out e.g. the cable rows before the sled pulls.
Thanks again, coach. Inspirational videos as always. I know you're an expert at what you do but I can't help but get worried about an unhealthy internal rotation on the shoulder (landmine exercise around the 5 minute mark). Am I worrying needlessly?
Dear Mr Phil. My name is Randy. I'm from Indonesia. My background are wtf taekwondo n boxing. N i realized not many fighters even do weight training. So in this moment I'm asking for your permission to remake your video in Indonesian. I you don't mind, i will proced. If you mind i will not remake your video techniques I'll keep it to my self Thank you in advance
Looks like some random crossfit training doesnt look like training specifically for bare knuckle fights. Do you even need training for bare knuckle fights where first hit might very well be last.

What would be specific bare knuckle training then?
