Can you help me to which settings? thanks again !
Thx for the walkthrue. Just got my first 360 X2 and were out today and recorded footage in bright sunlight. but I notice on the footage a massive difference from one sensor to the next.. when checking the footage I see one 180' got a way different teint then the other 180' so it makes the stitching very pronounce.. is that normal, and pretty sure it was set to all auto,. and not this isolated you show above. is that common that there is quite a big difference from one lens area to the other lens areas.. when watching it on the app?
In extreme lighting situation yes this can happen. There should be an option to set both sensors to record at the same settings which would help with this issue. I also believe there was an option in the insta360 studio to blend both exposure levels but I'm not 100% anymore.
Hi can you run a test on this camera. To exhaust the battery recording 360 without it overheating. I think this is a design fault with every single one. Please send reply if you manage to test this. Or try without battery still overheating Thank you Les
No I can not test this. However during "normal" sessions of up to 5min continues recording I did not experience any overheating issues. However it was not in direct sunlight or a hot country.
@@GreenBoxMedia I use the camera mics, not an external one, i am a beginer with this camera...anyway, thank you very much for quick answer, i apreciate.
@@GreenBoxMedia For now i have the wind direction mode, i dont know if is good or not, i intend to do only short videos when i go on water with my SUP, i am not a pro with these camera things :) ..
Thank you but there is lots you did not explain. The codes 264 and 265 what the difference.? Also if you record in 3K 100 FPS will the footage be only slow motion or normal speed?
Yes this is true. I brushed over some details because otherwise this video would be more in the region of 40 min in length. h.265 is the successor of the very popular and widely used h.264 video codec. (sometimes falsely referred to as mp4) h.265 (sometimes referred to as HEVC) manages, next to other improvements, to compress videos into smaller files by equal or even better over all quality. However, HEVC these days needs more powerful CPUs to play back and edit because unlike h.264 hardware is not yet optimized for the new standard. If you don't know what HEVC is doing, and you don't have a strong reason to use it (majority of viewers) I recommend sticking to h.264 because most devices have no problem working with that codec. When recording in 100 fps and editing the video using the APP or the Studio software, you can time warp and decide if it is slo-mo or not inside the software.
That's a post process therefore after. However depending on what exactly you want to do you need to enter a mode before (for example in bullet time mode)
Hi is it true that it’s better. To buy from Apple insta360 x2 because of the usb cable . You can transfer files quicker by USB connectivity than wireless . The device that we buy from the official online store doesn’t support wire connectivity 🤨
@@GreenBoxMedia It uses the phone's Wifi to connect through the app - meaning it can only live stream using your 4G or 5G internet. But could you get around this if you setup a Wifi hotspot, so the phone could continue to use Wifi for internet as well as connecting through the app?
Try exporting the video and checking on another device like tv or PC to make sure it's not a phone problem. If the problem is not resolved by that contact the support of the camera.
Excellent. But you presume users already have the software installed and the link which is blood difficult and so far impossible for android. Doing all the stuff you showed depends on the camera working. All I get is an "install software" message.
Heythere the app us definitely available for android. However, there are some requirements the Insta360 Product page states the following: (if you meet those contact insta360 support they can help) Android: Kirin 980 or above (Huawei Mate 20, P30 and above) Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (Samsung Galaxy S9, Xiaomi Mi 8 and above) Exynos 9810 or above (Samsung S9, S9+, Note9 and above) *Devices that do not meet the above requirements can still use the app to control ONE X2, however, performance of some operations with high processing requirements such as AI-powered functions and video playback may be sub-optimal.
@@tomballardnd yes I figured it out. Download the app and just keep looking up videos and messing with it. I didn't like it and sold it. So I cant walk you through it but good luck
Dear Greeny: I have a problem that while recording 360 video of just 2 minutes, the battery chamber from outside (both side)become very hot, but battery is not hot as much outer chamber. can you please help me in this matter?
This sounds like normal behavior. They might use the material around the battery to transfer heat. However if you worried about your product make sure to reach out to the inata360 support. Thier live chat is top notch.
You don't need a pin. Everything which is needed is to use the Insta360 APP. It will walk you through the setup (does it automatically) (also check supported Phones on the Insta360 page)
In 5.7K, the Insta360 ONE X2 stops after 30 minutes of recording and then resumes recording after 5 seconds. 5 seconds of recording are therefore missing. As a result, it is not possible to record more than 30 minutes continuously. It's unimportant for some but for me it's a very bad surprise.
Por qué el titulo en español y habla en inglés?. No puefo usar los titulos en ingles porque no dejan ver dinde muestra su dedo. Tiene uno en español. De todas maneras gracias.
Often times you're too little of an expert. For examle: '50 or 60 hertz depending on if you live in Europe or the US' . Why not tell who chooses what? 'H264 and h265' yeah I see I can choose one or the other without your help, but why would I choose the one or the other?
Well I very well do know the differences between NTSC and PAL. As well as the differences between h.264 and HEVC. However the people watching this video most likely never worked with cameras before. Having to give them an education in why europe runs on a 50hz electrical grid and the us on a 60hz and why this is something that you should worry about when using a camera, as well as why NTSC-J is a thing would simply go above the scope of this video and would make it even longer than it already is. Same for HEVC someone maybe heard that "h256 is better" so if they want to change to it there you go. Opening a new box about how the HEVC compression works and why it's not the best I dea to use with systems older than 3years would just be something the huge majority watching this video is not interested in anyways. 😉
great walk through
