To me BeiGuang is kind of a bitter sweet ship because of who they are. No matter how much they like the other, Beidou would never abandon her crew and her life as a pirate to go settle down with Ningguang at the harbor, and at the same time Ningguang would never leave her position of power and fortune to live the sea life with Beidou. So in the end their relationship would never be able to go beyond flirting and spending some time together whenever they are able to see each other (which considering Beidou´s long journeys and Ninnguang´s more than busy schedule would be only a couple of times a year at best)
It's only bittersweet if this arrangement would strain the relationship. They both seem to be the types of people who'd enjoy a low stakes/low commitment relationship because they believe work comes first. It'd be sadder if one of them wanted a conventional relationship while the other was committed to their job but they're perfectly compatible in this regard -- as such, this will never be an issue between them. They'd probably kill each other if they spent every day together lol. And outside of major story quest events, Beidou probably isn't overwhelmingly busy anyway. I like to imagine she'd have to dock at Liyue harbor at least once a month to pay those ridiculous fines she's always accruing haha.

this is so funny because i'm rather certain the authors intended these type of romantic hints with female characters for a male audience playing the game as aether traveler, but when you play as lumine it happens that there are so many random lesbian indications

I can see where you're getting the ship part from but there's no romantic input here, just someone not wanting to admit that they consider a "troublemaker" a friend, not necessarily in the romantic realm.
