i love how his feelings toward her started right in the beginning when he didn’t want to hurt or be mean to her and whenever he did, he regretted it right away and it’s just so wholesome when he cares for her and becomes a better person

Kyo deserves the whole world and that world is Tohru like go observe the way he looks at her, it's really filled with love and he literally sees her as his world. HOW COULD TOHRU NOT MELT FROM THAT!?
To me, Kyo was the first one to actually understand Tohru. He is (always) the first one to realise Tohru's emotions and insecurities and be there for her, e.g., when she feels upset about her grandpa's illness. They are so cute!!!! And I realise that she only cries in front of Kyo, at least from my memory. Yuki also cares about Tohru but in a more selfish way as he was never really there when Tohru needs comfort while Tohru was there for him all the time. Anyway, I love this ship so much...

When he covered her ears when Shigure asked if Kyo was going on a “hot date” it was so pure. Everytime he used a touch to express his affection, like at Masters house when they looked at the wood and he slapped her, or when they were walking and he just randomly bonked her head, it’s amazing. @@bobjones4469 not really though. I know to some it doesn’t make sense, but to me, it does. Especially when he draws parallels with Rin; you see the similarities come together then and realize how Yuki saw her. He’s smooth, charming, the type of guy I’d want actually over Kyo (Id still want Kyo too though lmao), but he’s not the one that complements Tohru. He love and protects her sort of in the way a boy loves his mother, and I think it’s very sweet. Also, the mangaka said it was planned, so it wasn’t like she did it as an excuse. But another thing is that I actually like how the writer portrayed that kind of maternal love. Lots of stories go in the direction where the second lead gives up the girl after a love triangle, but here, there really isn’t one at the end of the day. It’s about the different types of love and healing one girl brought to so many people. If anything, the only love rival in FB would be Momiji, but even he knew he truly never had a chance. Anyways, I’m not trying to undermine your opinion, these are my thoughts after reading your comment. It’s the great thing about stories; we can interpret them however we please at the end of the day.

Fruits Baskt reminds me deeply of a book I once read, about a painter, and this white cat. He had to paint a picture for the temple, and the cat had seen him paint all the animals looking up at god, except the cat. Since he felt a connection to her, he decided to paint the white cat in the corner of the painting. Then when he unvieled it, the white cat was in the god's arms.

When I'm watching fruit basket, I love yuki and tohru love chemistry. But most of the videos I saw are more related to kyo and tohru which I quick change to their love chemistryy.

I just finished reading the manga for the second time coz I quite forgot some parts already... I won’t say any spoiler, but that aside, I really love how the relationship between Kyo and Tohru develops.. It’s like Tohru is Kyo’s weakness and strength that keeps him changing for the better him, and so does Tohru’s ❤️
