Fruits Basket..is interesting All the characters have their own character development. After Tohru came in his life for a few months, he let out what he actually felt. His backstory was touching. I haven’t read the manga, but i’m planning to. I’m praying these get together.
Fruits basket is really unique.. Old anime series are really good...no nudity.. No sex appearance.. It's full of emotion and love... (Sry for my bad English)
Its a 2007 manga i did read many great one and also sexy and not that innocent as fruit basket before it was published and after. This manga was ongoing for years😧i tho back then the manga k will never end it and i remember cheering for kyo a lot😌such great memories (tho i did not like the first ep/book😅it was strange for me but am happy i did continue with the chapter )
According to me both Kyo and yuki loves and care tohru equally. But most of the Anime fans don't realise how much kyo loves to tohru, bcz he isn't much open with his deep inside feelings in front of anyone specially tohru, he always try to hesitate in expressing his feelings in front of someone specially tohru even more than yuki does to his inside feelings. And it was a complete joke when yuki said that kyo easily makes friends, because I have never seen kyo smiling and enjoying in company of anyone except tohru and his master or shisho. Instead yuki is much open with his feelings for tohru, you should notice how much flirty scenes there are between yuki and tohru, but we think that yuki is not open with his feelings as kyo is bcz this animeseries has mainly focus on the the sufferings and pain of yuki not kyo... in fact Kyon is justified to be rude towards yuki because you might have not noticed but yuki most of the times taunts Kyon by calling him a stupid cat without any reason(well I agree that kyo really deserve to hear this sometime but most of the time he gets taunts from others including hatsura, yuki, uotani and others without any reason) so why isnt it he justified to get triggered and rude if they will always taunt him by saying a "stupid cat" that he hates to hear(bcz it triggers his past trauma of being rejected in society for being a cat and a monster in true form). In fact even yuki gets triggered so hard when someone taunts him, but only few of the characters taunts him so we don't see him as rude as kyo. It may be because it is based on a shojo manga (which is targeted at women). Shonen and seinen mangas and anime tend to have fanservice for the male audience.
@@aashutoshkashyap1886 Kyo's love for Tohru is different from Yuki's. So it can't be equal cause they're both on different grounds. And also, they portrayed Yuki how he was originally on the manga. He was suppose to be the perfect guy in Kyo's eyes (but the truth is the opposite). There are so many developments in their characters on the manga that are yet to be revealed in the anime so just wait and see. And actually in my opinion, the anime did the manga justice.

Since then, I've been rooting for Kyo and Tohru's story to develop and hoping they'll have a happy ending together. I already finished the manga a few years ago and I could say that among all the mangas I've read and animes I've watched, their story is one of the best love stories I've seen. Tohru is like an angel sent for Kyo, giving him a sense of light and joy in his life. Despite knowing Kyo's story, Tohru has never been afraid of Kyo's real form and what he can do to her, instead, she stayed beside him and made sure that her acceptance and love will reach Kyo, so Kyo can value and love himself as well. For Kyo, despite his arrogant personality, he remained to be appreciative and caring to Tohru, as she is one of the people who truly understand him, and she values Tohru the most. I literally cried when I was reading the manga and felt relieved and happy when they ended up and lived a long life together. Not only their love, but the whole story itself could surely inspire many people in real life. I’ve learned that love truly exists when you are able to value others and yourself as well, it is shared not kept. I think that’s all I want to say here. Hope you enjoy the old/new version of Fruits Basket 1 and season 2.

The character development this anime has makes it one of my top 3 favorites of all time. For example, Kyo grew and was able to be shown to love himself despite what he was told by those around him. That scene between him and Tohru when he is in his real form makes me cry everytime I watch that episode. He thought so little of himself but she was there for him and showed him what it means to be loved and to love someone. And Yuki too. He's learning to stand up for himself along with allowing for people to be there for him. The character development is one of the best if not the best I've seen. The writers and producers are doing an outstanding job!
Yes, I felt from ep 1 season 1 thay they were going to be together 😍 and I don't understand how some people thought of a possible Yuki x Tohru and Kyo x Kagura as canon couples 😱 those ships, with the romantic storyline we have, just don't make sense 😅

I always thought that, to expiate her fault, she could have just supported Kyo being a friend to him, without imposing herself to fall necessarily in love with him or at least without being so suffocating ^^' I appreciate though the fact she realized her mistakes and started to love him more sincerely. I think Yuki is a great character and his arc is really intense, it's just that he's not absolutely romantically suitable for Tohru, nor she is for him. Tohru and Kyo bond intimately as the story progresses and as their love grows stronger step by step. Tohru adores the zodiac cat since forever, her eyes are so bright when she's around Kyo and his eyes speak for themeselves when he looks at her. Apart from this very romantic aspect XD, they are meant to be together for tons of reasons (they truly understand each other etc.), as their interactions in the series show

The scene when Kyo’s up in the mountains with his master is way more devastating when you find out why Kyo is so broken and despondent. Reading it was heartbreaking, ngl.
This ship is my life! They are legit meant to be together. She helped him through his pain when he didn't want to face it. SPOILERS! I'm so glad they got together and had a long happy life together. They even had a kid! I'm so happy for these two, honestly. I wish I saw more into their relationship, like the wedding but I'm still happy.

Well I just watched this anime, the old and new anime for 1st season and also the 2nd season now got to wait patiently for the 3rd season. I also have finished reading the manga, and I had to say the anime and manga are superb. When a friend asked which couple that I will shipped without hesitant I said Kyo + Tohru coz kyo even he looks as bad boy bu I still love it and I always looking forward to his scene and tohru as well. Yuki is not a type that I will hooked with coz he looks so perfect and yup he's meant for Machi 😂
You know, I used to ship Tohru with Yuki. But her moments with Kyo is always just so pure and makes me feel warm inside. Slowly, I start to prefer Tohru with Kyo more. She and Yuki are still cute tho.

Oh yeah!!! They're meant to be since the very beginning. Tohru is dedicated to the cat spirit/Kyo and the same goes for Kyo dedicated only for Tohru.

Well I just watched this anime, the old and new anime for 1st season and also the 2nd season now got to wait patiently for the 3rd season. I also have finished reading the manga, and I had to say the anime and manga are superb. When a friend asked which couple that I will shipped without hesitant I said Kyo + Tohru coz kyo even he looks as bad boy bu I still love it and I always looking forward to his scene and tohru as well. Yuki is not a type that I will hooked with coz he looks so perfect and yup he's meant for Machi 😂
