No doubt this is one of the best songs I've ever heard in my 30 years life. God bless this band. This is True Art. And its just tears me apart. Damn, I hope when I start to die, my whole life will fly before my eyes and this song will play, and with its last chord, I will also pass away. This is so good that I can't even imagine how its possible. It's like a great magician performs an incredible trick and all that remains in my head is the question: "How did they do it ?!" Only these are not magicians, but Musicians.
Thanks for this. I felt sad at the news of their disbandment/hiatus. I thought I could never experience their live performance but this video makes up for the loss.
I love this performance but I think the mix could have been made so much better to give the gazeguitar more tone on the DVD's audio engineers end, and a bit more emphasis on drums. Thanks for uploading though, good stuff!
hmmmmmmm... she votes to sing in the easier lower octave instead of the higher one in that crucial last bit of vocals before what seems to be an English lyric 'so sad'. The band is very polished here and worse for it, really feels like they are just going through the motions. By this point they had achieved breakthrough success, signing to a major label and releasing the 'two steps backward' album 'Fake World Wonderland'. I remember them debuting the cornily-titled track 'Tokyo', the new tune proving to be their death knell as it signalled a future in which subsequent albums would become increasingly more poppy and by extension less original and sincere. It is 'so sad' that a group that could achieve such mind-expanding heights, particularly on their second album, 'Eureka' - an all-time best-of Japanese rock instant classic - could tumble so rapidly and catastrophically into ho-hum radio rock. The person who noted below to search for this same song presented here with 'Motion Pt2' will prove for you everything I have just stated - same exact song, performed earlier in their career, and many, many times a more powerful, meaningful, and sincere performance.
Yes my friend, pains me to say all of the above, believe me. Couldn't believe what a cliched turn the band took. I remember reading the bass player decided to quit the band to take over his parents' temple. @@jg6551
Doctor: you have 8 minutes and 20 seconds left to live

Still my favorite song from them. Although that one performance where her voice cracks is the better live rendition in my opinion
One of my fave performances of them in general as well.
I was also wondering, they have really popular songs too but do many listen to this dvd?
Do you have a link to that performance?
@@swordysan Just search “Kinoko Teikoku Motion Pt2” and that should do it
@@marball Thanks! love it

I dislike everything about your comment but you are 100% right. Good band that could’ve been so much more
