You actually don't want to level your frets under tension, just as you don't want your neck perfectly straight under tension. The truss rod is to adjust the neck to achieve the correct amount of relief under tension. leveling under tension effective negates neck relief. Nice looking hardware though. I'll definitely check those out.

The under the string leveler is for just what your doing, getting them level with string tension. The only other way would be to play with the truss rod to simulate string tension. If your a strat player Youll definitely want to crown the frets but Les Paul Guys are used to wide flat frets so you might just need to polish them. I think that leveler is how it should be done unless you want to do one fret at a time. It is level to how your gonna play it. You cant get better than that. Those Watch knobs would look so perfect on my sunburst Cadillac and match well with the gold hardware I think
