My favourite part about this scene is that because Nine hasn't properly prepared for this, even if he did manage to steal OFA it would immediately blast all of his limbs off

the fact that a fully grown man showed no remorse trying to take a teenage boys super power shows you how high and deadly the stakes were if this were real life ; the fact is that if Nine had 2 more slot open he could potentially have stolen One For All but some theorize Nine saw the vestiges here and they repelled or more so rejected him and you see the parry of energy push Nine back a little bit as its been reported One For All is sentient and will act accordingly to the will of the User so it could have been protecting Deku here from the power getting stolen

@@trace1506 by that logic all the quirks in one for all are one quirk, not multiple. If a stockpiling quirk combined with the pass on quirk it becomes one quirk, other peoples quirks are passed on as well, then that means they too have fused because they also are passed on.
@@papatristan3536 alr so ima explain sum that was explained about afo the quirk the brother had and the quirk afo gave him fused together (it was explained clearly btw) and the quirks that was passed on to deku was not "fused" in the same way as afo cuz if that was the case all might woulda been able to use them

I think it's more than Nine "not having enough space".
OFA contains the life forces of the previous heroes who had it, and so they're able to keep OFA inside of Midoriya's body.
Similarly to why when Deku shared OFA with Bakugo, the transfer was incomplete. Deku continously proves that he is so worthy to be a holder of OFA that the other predecessors decide to keep it inside of him.

Nine can steal it, but he didn't put enough power into and he didn't have enough slots for a OFA that possess multiple quirks.
Nine willpower is intensively high. To steal One for all it is needed both enormous quantity of power and Willpower to forcefully take out One for all, something said by All For One and by The Doctor both knows more about quirks than AFO brothers and the predecessors inside of OFA.
1- He is only alive because of his willpower, Nine had a decease that kills his body cells. Doctor Ujiko even said that is a miracle Nine is still alive(a time before Nine receives AFO quirk and all the body enhancements)
2- Different from Shigaraki Nine mind wasn't taken by All for one(Villain) at no Moment, Nine had AFO quirk for almost a Month and was never taken hostage of AFO will. While Shigaraki just from a few minutes he was already being persuade and later controlled.
Nine even possess a amped version of himself were he goes to fight two 100℅ users of One for all, he possess power and willpower enough to take OFA. But he doesn't possess slot enough for all the quirks present in OFA. That is why Nine didn't manage to take OFA.

@@psykos233 No, he really can't. It isn't that there are too many Quirks, but really because the will of the OFA users reject him. He assumes that there're multiple Quirks, which he isn't wrong about per se, but it was overall because his will cannot overcome the other users.
It's been stated that Shigaraki is the only one that has the potential to actually break through and steal One for All.

I showed this movie to my little siblings, and during this part where Deku first fights Nine, my sister was screaming "No, Deku can't fight him or he'll steal his quirk."
I was so happy how into the movie she was.
The thing is, even if Nine did have enough space for all the Quirks within OFA, OFA itself prevents itself from being stolen. (Transferred against the will of the current holder) However it does not prevent itself from being copied. Which is why Monoma can copy OFA but he'd still need to pass it on and let it grow to be as powerful as it is in Deku
Nine is like an external flash drive to store quirks that he had taken away from others until he realized that One for All carries huge data consumption that would potentially corrupt the whole goddamn external drive
Ok sorry to bring this up again but 0:03 but this right here is proof Dekus lighting CAN be seen cause it's shot from nines perspective and he is looking inside Deku. I know I should have let it go but it's been bugging me ok 😂

Just think clearly like in the 1st season all might only gave the boy his hair to eat and gave him permission to get One for all. So only One for all user has the power to give one for all for someone else, you cannot steal it by force.
And also All for one tried to steal One for all quirk but he couldn't because One for all has like an immunity that can never be stollen no matter what type of quirk you have

I never saw this movie but I saw some clips of it and it’s so good Nine is so cool wish MHA didn’t kill him off he had so much potential I love his quirk to control the weather that’s just so cool and OP I really felt bad for the guy 😢
