This Lisa is very popular in Japan and sings the opening song for the anime, "Demon Slayer" and other anime shows. You should check out the "Social Path" MV, it enhances the deep meaning of the lyrics!
Some of LiSA's more well known songs include Gurenge, crossing field and Homura. She's a really amazing anime OST singer and she's really popular in Japan and among anime fans as well. For Gurenge and Homura, there are The First Take performances, otherwise there are lyric videos. Crossing field has a music video though. Thanks for the reaction!
Chan literally said this is about his journey to become a K-pop star. He shared it as he thought others would relate. Whilst the Lyrics tell a story, so does the video. In the beginning, all the boys are alone. With haters, doubters, self doubts.... their nightmares. It is only when Chan is being attacked by his and was in trouble did the boys start to ban together. Led by the strongest, Lee Know and Changbin, they burst through all those nightmarish things (most likely Chans) in order to get to Chan. You see Chan rising towards the heavens above his nightmares. CHAN has been very open about how he was in a dark place and if it wasn't for the boys rescuing him he wouldn't be on this earth anymore. You see the boys RIP open the wall and rescue him, finally you see them all together and this is the only time you see them smile. I also think Felix has his angel wing because his voice is deep and dark but his personality is sunshine. I feel Chan thinks of Felix as a gift from the heavens as he was someone he could really relate to about home things. Gave up my youth for my future I just want to rise up stronger Wherе am I right now, nоw, now, now, now? I believe Chan wrote this song about his own experience & time as a trainee. His story is so heart wrenching. He left everything at 13 in Australia & went to Korea alone. He was basically alone for 6 years till he met Han. 😢 I remember him mentioning being literally alone in the dorms one year when everyone got cut from JYP & he was literally the only 1 left. Can you imagine being a young kid alone in a massive empty dorm. All his friends had debuted, & everyone else was cut. He made a decision never to get close to anyone again and ended up in a really dark place. He's made more than one reference to his mental health suffering during this time. Luckily he met Han & Changbin to form 3RACHA then later the rest of the boys & he said they saved him. 😢😭😭😭 He's literally a walking miracle. ❤❤❤❤ He is so incredibly strong to overcome all he did. Knowing this made this song hit so hard.
The guy’s name who did the part you liked a lot is Hyunjin and he has a nice song called ‘ice.cream’ i recommend to you guys! He also is an incredible dancer who was named artist of the month with his dance ‘motley crew’ with over 40M views right now and I would love to see you react to that and his dancing 🔥
Thanks for reacting guys! You MUST watch the MV on the Japanese channel from Stray Kids. The MV portrays all those demons... Thanks again! Gonna sub to see more skz!
She has about 37% of the song, actually, one of the largest features i have ever seen. Much longer than most other features. She also plays a very important role in the MV and the song as a whole. She is their guide through everything they are going through. As for the song, you gotta remember, it's Stray Kids song, and this isn't a collaboration. it's a feature. Features usually consist of 4 lines twice (less often), and usually, features have a one-time appearance. Take Topline, for example, that was an actual collaboration where Tiger was heavily involved in the creation of the all-around lyrics and the production. He also picked where he would feature and, of course, wrote his rap. And even though it's literally twice as long as any of the other parts, it's still only 8 bars/lines. Because stray kids do everything in 1-4 bar turns, 8 bars seem like a generous part, and it goes down as a great collaboration and feature. And no one has any complaints. Of course. So it's odd how that viewpoint shifts so much in this case. And i wonder why.... So many, and most of those watched the MV which clearly puts her up on a pedestal (literally lol) and even features her as the heroine, as well as those who watch the lyric video, despite the fact that it's clear just how much of the song is her. When you break it dowm, you realize that the 8 members of SKZ had, again, between 1-4 lines, in 2 parts each, and were festured visually 1-2 times in the MV when their parts came up. (HAN and Changbin were only shown visually once. They were the first two, the rappers.) 3RACHA will always be the ones who take part cuts for their features to shine. They also did this is 'Topline'. However, in that, BangChan took the biggest cut as literally only the "We don't hive a...." line is his, that's it. But in this, it required two of them to take a massive cut so she could do what she did. But they didn't want it to be BangChan. After all, he always takes massive line cuts for his group. At this point, it can sometimes feel as though he is only their main producer and leader with how massively he docs himself in their music. So when it came to this song, the other two members of 3RACHA, Han and Changbin, they refused to let him snd they took it themselves. After all, the song was written by Chan. It's literally his journey through the industry. So, anyway!! Yeah, it's understandably something that new listeners will miss, but through the whole song, the members have anywhere from 2 to 8 lines split into 2 parts (and are featured 1-2 times visually in the MV. Meanwhile, they gave her her a lead role in the MV visually, her own massive set, along with still being heavily featured in the main MV storyline with them too.) That having been said, in the actual song, as i said, she had a third of the song, so a total of 16 lines. Far more than even Tiger. And even though it was a feature and not a collaboration, they quite literally focused the entire genre that they produced it in on her. She does a LOT of famous anime openings. They wanted her both for her voice to really feel like it suited the genre, and they wanted her fans to enjoy the song, too. So they really focused on the creation of the whole track production (and, of course, the mv) on her. On top of that, they featured her 3 different times vocally, with 4-6 lines each time. Even if they had stopped where you thought they would, it would have still been a feature exactly the same as Tiger in terms of quantity. Beyond that, if someone is included as an afterthought on a song, that would be giving them a verse. It's easy to incorporate, and nothing else has to be changed. Not only was the production on her parts far more complicated than theirs, but she had about 15 layers of vocals stacked to get the intensity that her parts had. The arrangement done was so incredibly finite that just one of her sections could have easily taken an editor a whole day to perfect when it comes to arranging and layering them. But just having her inclusion in the song be in more that one section is very much the opposite of tacking her on. Yes, she did have the same part 3 times over... much of which was the same 4 lines. However, 4 lines is a very normal verse in K-pop songs, often even less. (That's why so few rap verses in K-pop qualify for any records despite the flow or speed. Because their parts simply aren't long enough in K-pop, and if in Stray kids, even a rapper doesn't get many drawn out parts.... a group that is predominantly rap... then it goes without saying that it's very unlikely that the vocal sections are going to be over 4 lines themselves.) Usually, vocalists receive 1-3. So, the fact that she has 4-4-6 is one of the most generous and respectful features i have ever seen. Made possible only because they split them up. Otherwise, it would have felt very off-putting and forced if they just put them all at once in the middle. If they did that, people would have said it felt as though they were trying too hard, or even perhaps that they were over-utilizing her to the point of relying on her, or heck... taking advantage of her. Yet they split them up and properly integrated her into the lyrics, they obviously even built the production around her because this isn't their normal sound (yet they nailed it) and although you didnt see it, they built not just the MV around her but also made her the heroine of the MV storyline. This brings me to those 4 specific lines. Not only would it have been weird for her to have any other lines in the storyline of the song that they made for the MV, it would have been even more off putting considering the song is about the group. The lines she has are because she's the guide in the story behind the song they used for the MV. They are the lines of perseverance and determination. That is the uplifting part, the part that gives the song hope. She keeps telling them that throughout the song, because she is cheering them, she's guiding them to the end. In which they harmonize with her the same two lines that thexguys chsnt themselves at the very beginning, only now they do so right before the last time she sings her part to them to them. Indicating they are no longer two separate artists, but one. Something depicted in the MV. Moreover, a verse definitely wouldn't have ever been able to say more or be a bigger part of a song than that. That I'm sure of. Yeah, she had only 6 different lines in total. But they were by far some of the most impactful. Heck, even in the production, it's obvious in how big it sounds, like it also had the most TLC as well. So, if im being honest, it WAS the most respectful and thoughtful, clever, tactful, and generous while still as fair and properly structured as the deep lyrics required it be. In other words, they managed to give her a third of the song, without in any way shape or form, relinquishing the song or making it feels as though it wasn't theirs, which with the lyric content was very important not to confuse. This is why songs that have features are almost always very shallow in meaning. So that both artists can be on the track, no problem, and it doesn't seem weird to maybe have one, likely if it was written by the company... both them and the members, singing about it. In this case, the depth was there, as was the structure for the story. Kpop is bad about literally tacking artists on in one small spot. Often, even the production will be lacking like they forgot to even do it. Or, worse, sometimes when the companies will literally give the feature the song. The group members suddenly have fewer lines ALL TOGETHER than the featured artists do. This happens when companies want a really notable Western artist to feature with a group they are trying hard to push on the western market. One that they likely had to bribe to even do the song with themcin the first place. So, far too often, when the company panders to the other artist to get them in on the song, they end up just handing it over to them, and their group becomes the feature. Quite literally going way too far and just selling out their own group just to get that name on their song. It seems generous at first, but them you realize its juat insulting to the group. Needless to say, you can most definitely go too far in either direction. And yet... I find it so odd how in both their last feature. (although just as heavily integrated in the process and the result, was actually a lot less present in the vocals and the track.) As well as in terms of the times i have seen groups become the feature on their own song. I have never seen anyone complain about either. Oddly enough, only now, in the most respectful, generous, and brilliantly built and structured feature i have ever seen done in kpop, that i can't believe I have I seen anyone say such things. However, it's not even just one, but several. Dont get me wrong, that is most definitely occurring, yes, but everyone else is commenting on how blown away they are by it. I just can't figure out how it's possible for a sizeable portion of listeners to see it in such a vastly different light. (It's like Han's AMAZING solo song 'Volcano' all-over again where it was a happy song people kept confusing for being incredibly sad. Lol) Likewise, with this one, their deduction is so contradictive to the reality that they find themselves in complete disagreement with the facts as far as all of this goes. I guess... I'm just very surprised, that's all.
