honestly sandra and jodie chemistry is scarily believable, they rarely had a scene together and yet you can felt the tension between those two. And when they were in the same room, like sandra said, the entire world goes away, that's how good these two are together 💃💃💃
Would have loved a tie between Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer - they have, hands-down, the best chemistry, drama AND comedy of all of the “couples” on tv today!
There are very few shows that are truly unique. Even legitimate classics are rarely unique. Killing Eve is one of the exceptions. It is inventive, unpredictable, well-written and full of wonderful performances. Sandra definitely deserves this and every award, but it was great to hear her shoutout to Jodie. Their scenes together are electrifying.
I was waiting during her acceptance speech at the Globes for her to thank Jodie. Both their performances depend on each other and while there are plenty of scenes when they are not together, the characters need to be perfect for us to be as involved as we are. Jodie and Sandra are both essential for the chemistry of the entire show.
th2k I think Sandra was very nervous about co-hosting and probably didn’t think too much about if she won. I agree that Sandra and Jodie’s chemistry is amazing. But the supporting cast (they are very good as well) and their contribution Ito show is important too. And Phoebe Waller-Bridge and her co-writers have given all the cast some amazing scripts.
Sandra's spreech is beautiful and the way she speaks about Jodie (her obsession...her other half...who has pushed her to the limit) sounds to me like these two are Twinflames and I can't help it, but I love this thought! These 2 women are beautiful, exciting and extraordinary! Villanelle and Eve as well as Sandra and Jodie! I am very late in finding the show but I am so grateful that I finally did. I love "Killing Eve"! can't wait to see season 4 😍
@@fassbrig we have had this conversation...Ms Oh is talented and deserving but she needed to acknowledge Ms Comer because her character is really the focal point of the show and she was remiss to not single her out at the globes...i am glad she has paid attention to the MANY people who commented on all forms of social media about this because for me it really spoilt the great feeling i had about the show and these 2 amazing actresses....
andrea delves Eve and Villanelle are both the focal points of the show. Without their obsession and chemistry with each other it would not be as exciting and interesting to watch. The supporting cast play their parts as well in making KE such a brilliant show. Phoebe Waller-Bridge has given these 2 actresses great scripts to work from. PWB deserves a lot of credit for that which Sandra has quite rightly acknowledged at both ceremonies. At the GG, Sandra was co-hosting and probably didn’t think she’d win. Their were a lot of people involved with KE who were there to support her. So she thanked everyone, particularly those that didn’t look at her ethnicity but as her being the right person to play Eve. But the most important people there were her parents. At these awards by the look of it there was only Sandra, Jodie and Kirby Howell-Baptiste, sitting together. I read an interview with Jodie who said that she was unemployed for 2 years before KE came up. KE has given her the best part of career so far and the notice that the other shows appear not to have done. No doubt Jodie will have a big career and awards may well come her way. Sandra has had to work hard to get to this point [i don’t know enough about her career to compare) but she knows what a wonderful role she has been given. And she has had to overcome the kind of prejudices that Jodie will never encounter.
