  • ARA stands for "audio random access", and Melodyne ARA only appears in the first plug-in slot in Logic Pro. ARA allows you to edit audio in Melodyne without having to record your audio into the plug-in first.

    Thank you so much! I’ve just started using Logic again after a couple of years absence and it’s great to see that Celemony and Logic are finally playing together nicely. I moved to Studio One mainly because of its affinity with Melodyne. It’s great software but I’ve been driven away by their crazy management and pay policy. - You explained the process beautifully. Many thanks! 😊

    Aaaand ARA is broken in Logic Pro 11. There's a bug that doesn't allow to open LP11 in Rosetta mode . Apple announced they were working on a fix 10 days ago, and still no news 😅

      I hear you. I upgraded to LP11 and I'm considering going back to LP10 so Rosetta will work but I don't want to give up ChromaGlow. These are trying times.

    Does ara work on silicon mac’s without being in rosetta mode now? That would be awesome!

      Following. I am having an issue , ARA not working on my m2 mac studio.
      So why is that? And how to run melodyne in rosetta ?

      I'm not sure about that. I'm still using Rosetta mode because without it I have problems with various plugins. It will be great to be able to use Logic without Rosetta someday.

      @@akshaygurav9855 To turn on Rosetta in Logic you have to right click on the Logic App itself and click the Rosetta box.

    I needed to correct pitches for a Bass Player in the wrong Key. I fixed the pitches...but now the timing is all off! Is there a way to fix that?

    • @RomanRiccio
      @RomanRiccio  2 месяца назад

      Was the timing already off or are you saying that it went off after adding Melodyne?

      @@RomanRiccio I think I've got it dialed in. I was worried that, somehow, the spacing of the notes got off and threw it "out of sync" with the original I copied it from. It's sounding much better.
