I was wondering why you drilled out the apex of the inside corner before cutting the L shape on the table saw… then I thought about it and realized you’re a genius. That protects against glue squeeze out!
Hmm. I plan to build a bit larger ones, to be sure they hold the boards to glue strong enough to maintain square angle. Are they enough at this size? Must admit, I am yet to use such tools.

Nice idea with the internal track. If the intended use is picture frames it works better if the angle inside is slightly acute
