    I've been doing this massage for 3 weeks now, and IT WORKS! I am 29 and I have a round face. I didn't develop any lines yet, but my face was beginning to sag and to look droopy, especially when I was tired. This massage did wonders for me. Thanks for posting it, and thanks for the translation.

    After doing this today, for the first time, i looked in the mirror, and i had to keep looking at my face, several times, to believe what i saw. I am 74, and it's hard to believe what this did to my face after doing it just once, just a few minutes ago. i had to post this, to let all of you know that this is very effective, and if you would like to have a gorgeously shaped face, just start this little routine. you will be amazed.

    I recommend this Tanaka Facial Massage. I have shared her clips to all my friends. It really works so great to take away your wrinkles and especially your laugh line areas. Am 58 years old. I get so many comments on what I do to look like young beyond my age. Thank you Tanaka Facial Massage for your video .

    This really works. I am 26 years old and just started to loose my skin. I had smile lines from young age, since it was the shape of my face. I randomly saw this face massage. As I was thinking to start something for my skin care, I started to practice this massage. I could see a difference from day 1. Smile lines have almost dissappeared, my round face has been more toned and nose is also sharpened. Even the acne marks also started to dissappear. It also helps for sinus problem as I guess. Do not hesitate and practice. Use proper strenght. I practiced this twice a day. Have a beautiful skin.

  • @binhyena
    @binhyena 11 лет назад +105

    This method save my loose skin. I did the massage twice a day. I'm not sure I see any improvement by myself but I kept doing this. After 2 weeks, my friends asked me if I lost weight or did any facial treatment since my face looked less puffy and more contour. I can't be happier to hear that :)
    Thank you for your uploading. By the way, It sounds like Michelle Phan's voice, doesn't it?

    As a massage therapist myself, I can see the value in this facial massaging technique. I've found that by using facial massage as part of my skin care routine enables me to easily incorporate this into daily practice. What I do is use my regular facial moisturizer rather than a massage cream/gel/oil. This keeps my skin from breaking out and also allows for my moisturizer to better absorb.

    • @lmartiu
      @lmartiu 10 лет назад +1

      Hello Deborah, since you are a massage therapist I would like to ask you. Is it normal after a couple of week doing the Tanaka massage you get blackheads and pimples? I started last year with the massage in October, by end of November I had the right part of my neck full with pimples, abld blackheads, I assumed It was the massage and I stoped doing it. What do you think?

    • @deborahmclaughlin532
      @deborahmclaughlin532 10 лет назад +16

      The problem ISN'T the massage, but probably the way you prepare to do it. I ALWAYS cleanse my face first; making sure all my makeup is removed and my skin is completely clean. Then, I use a skin care product to do the massage. My favorite is BioOil as it is pure and of natural ingredients. Following my massage I LIGHTLY pat any remaining BioOil off, then follow with my regular moisturizer (Olay).
      IMPORTANT: Absolutely never do any facial massage or even touch your face during the day with unclean hands. If you do, you can be sure of getting facial breakouts and blackheads.
      I hope this helps.

    • @maizidan5473
      @maizidan5473 9 лет назад +6

      lmartiu I believe it depends on the oil/ lotion/ cream u r using. I just learned this the hard way. I started massaging my face using coconut oil, after two week I woke up to find my forehead and the chin area covered with pimples which depressed me a lot and just could not look at my face. I am using my daily face moisturiser cream now and I am fine with it. I found recently that coconut oil is not good at all for acne prone skin.

    as a facial therapist, i found this massage sequence as a highly effective one.. combine it with 100% pure and organic argan oil before you sleep that is complete 8 hours and you wont need any expensive anti-aging creme.. of course never to forget to drink more water (alkaline and ionized recommended) to be hydrated inside and not just outside..
    by the way, there are essential oils that's not good for the skin directly so try to avoid it unless you defuse it in air.. lavender is soothing but i dont recomend it directly to the face. better dilute it in argan oil or sweet almond oil..
    before doing this, make sure you have washed your face and neck very well using a facial wash (recomended: hypoallergenic and mild) and scrubbed gently (you can use a regular talbe granulated salt and kiwi puree or the combination of sugar-honey-safron).
    and after, make sure u close the pores using mild toners or simply a damp towel and dab it gently to your face. DO NOT WIPE.
    you can do it as evening ritual. remember, by morning use your regular face cream with sunscreen..

    • @Naimah_Vlogs
      @Naimah_Vlogs 5 лет назад

      Very good advice, thank you :) also nice to see the recommendation of wearing sunscreen as many people leave that off but is one of the best ways to protect the skin against premature ageing

    This is definitely possible, because when I used a cleansing oil/balm to do it, I got little bumps from it as well. Try using just organic, unrefined sweet almond oil or coconut oil, depending on your preference. When I use one of those oils individually, I don't have a problem, so that might work for you too.
    Hope that helped!
    ~Stephanie
    P.S. The coconut oil I use is from Tropical Traditions, the sweet almond oil is usually from Mountain Rose Herbs.

    @creamytarte It can, but so does regular exfoliating and keeping your pores clear from junk. This helps to keep circulation going and balance oil production, so yes, it can technically help with keeping pores from looking large and new ones from enlarging.

Anyway quick story I gave birth last week and a few of my nurses were asking me oh is this your first and I'm like no this is my fourth child and they were like what you look so young... and on a number of occasions where I had to give my age people where like wow how do you look so young .... so even though you don't see the changes other people will and that is when you know it's working. Do this massage correctly and you'll see amazing results.

    @fryernikki Yes, it is normal for some people. If you watch it to the end, you'll see that this is not a mere skin massage, but a whole treatment of the entire body, as it is supposed to be draining. You actualy stimulate some pressure or acupuncture points, which are reflex points, that's why you had uneven heartbeats.

    I looked specifically for a Korean-made aloe vera gel on an advice from a person who had been doing this massage for quite a long time. FarmStay had good reviews on social media, so I bought it and stick with it. Soothing, moisturising and providing the right ‘slip’ / friction balance - if added in small amounts throughout the massage.
    The list of ingredients on the pack is as follows:
    Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Alcohol Denat, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 80, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (1,000ppm), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum).

    It would be excellent, if the model was an older person, because always we see very young models, I recommend these videos to a friend of mine, she loves everything related to beauty, who doesn't? lol, she has been practicing with her mother who has I think around 64, and her grandmother, is in the 80's. Furthermore, a week ago my friend called me and asked to hire a plastic surgeon for her mom and grandma, she said: my grandmother still looks the same, my mother too, and told me, you know what, go to the moon make to make those massages to martians, hahahaha. I agree with my friend, why not use a model that really needs to improve the appearance of their wrinkles, and sagging skin?

  • @cleanslatemed
    @cleanslatemed  14 лет назад +1

    It depends on your preference. Tanaka used to massage her clients' faces prior to putting on makeup, so for you, that might be in the morning. Since you are going to be putting oil or face massage cream on, you may want to wash your face after the massage, but that's up to you and if you feel that you look greasy.

    Well, everyone has a Carotid Sinus on the neck (specifically, an area in the Carotid Artery). Some doctors massage this area to find a type of arrhythmia of the heart. Massaging this area can also slow a rapid heart rate, but its better to leave that to a doctor (in case a dangerous arrhythmia develops).
    Anyway, hope that helps. You should check with your doctor if it happens again. It's probably nothing, but better to be safe.

    @fryernikki: could have happened because of the blood flow. Suggest that you can still do the masage, but at a shorter period of time. Maybe that helps. I'm no expert but I hope I helped. :) Ask doc if something like this happens again. Stay healty! :D

    @ping1200 I'm sure there are pictures of it, you could do a Google search. Or you could always try it yourself before calling it bullshit haha. After all, it's just massage. Any massage gets the lymph moving and makes you look more refreshed at the very least.

    Her name IS YUKUKO TANAKA. What appears at the beginning of the video is WRONG. I wonder where the "Hisako" came from.

    I wonder regarding the lymph part to your neck and eye messages. Is it controversal to what we have known so far that have to message your back backward to your face to avoid loose skin in your neck?
