This week at club saw me and Ed playing a big game of Kings of War, 5000pts aside with me taking my Orcs against Ed’s his Ratkin .

Perhaps I'm mistaken but Orcs don't seem like an overly popular faction in KoW?

@@lazypiratepainting2947 - I'm still bogged down with trying to decide on my first army so I may have a closer look. Are there any armies in particular you'd recommend? I come from a historical wargaming background, just as a point of reference.

@@FreeFragUK when ever I’ve been ask by a historical player I always suggest one of the Human based armies to start with as most people have models already they can use. There’s plenty to choose from Kingdoms of Men, league of Rhordia, Basilean’s, Brothermark or Order of the Greenlady.
I myself have a Samurai Kingdoms of Men army using Dixon miniatures with a few add fantasy bits 😉👍
