I thought this was cleverly done! But can I just rant about this song? 'Cause the title is a quote from a philosopher called Rene Descartes, and I LOATHE Descartes. I literally dropped out of my philosophy course because reading about him annoyed the hell out of me. The quote is about how thoughts are a proof of existence, but how about things that have no thought like objects? How can you seperate a delusion, from reality if you rely solely on your thoughts as the proof of things? Don't even get me started on how he considered measuring distances. If people say philosophy is vague and confusing, then they are talking about Descartes. I can totally understand how concepts like Taoism work, I have no trouble with the likes of Aristoteles, but Descartes?! Why of all philosophers, is Descartes the one so commonly quoted?! To me, it makes as little sense as the man himself.
