I don't know if I said this before, but I've worked with horses for 45 years on and off... and I have learnt more (new things that I've been told in the past but maybe the wrong way) from your videos in the year I've been watching than in the past 45 years of being with horses. Thank you!
Aww well done Chevy and George for going through the water, both did amazing for youngsters, I love the colour of George, Chevy is like a big dog coming to call bless him, have to mention the beautiful weather too Steve, tfs Julie
Well that’s brilliant … 3rd ride and look how confident he is going through that stream. And with only a halter … wow! Just goes to show how awesome of a trainer you are.
So happy for Charlotte and her Prince, what a special find. It is such a pleasure to hear how you are devoted to letting young ones mentally and physically mature. I am so proud to be a subscriber and part of Chevy and Jimmy,s journey. Oh and of course Prince George. Please keep us updated on how Molly mends.
Omg so exciting!! Didn't think id see that picture for ages. Well done to you both, they are both beautiful and coming along so nicely. Congratulations x
Happy Days all round! Chevy under saddle, running like a pro! George is mighty... and calm as a cucumber! So happy for you guys to have such beautiful boys and these horses have landed on all four hooves to be with the ' Young ' family! 🤠🐎🐎👩💞
Wow Chevy is now broken to saddle! He looks so chill and happy🥰We didn’t see that coming in your videos, hopefully soon🤞🤞was so nice following their journey, hope they enjoy their break. George looks so kind and Charlotte very happy😊 looking forward to catching up on Charlotte’s shenanigans 😁
Awesome video! I am not surprised how well Chevy is doing! After all he has a great mind and a great trainer! George is gorgeous and looks like another one with a very level mind to him! Ya, happy trails for sure! Your friend from Idaho, USA! Forgot to say that on the video of yours I watched last night!❤
Absolutely beautiful horses and so trusting of their humans. Wonderful to see their rides off the property and taking it all in their stride. Wonderful bonding to you both. I hope that croaky voice clears up soon Tanya
Missed your videos been looking out for them nice to see your all OK what beautiful horses all growing up ,love Charlotte's new horse wish your could release more videos for us love them very much.❤
Two gorgeous horses! Both with such a gentle nature. I look forward to more vlogs on both of these boys. Charlotte congrats! George looks so sound when he moves. Glad you got him.
@@charlotteyoung0911 ❤ I love your joy and ease with the horses… may you sponge your father’ experience into your marrow and bring it a step or two further! And I’m curious. Have any of you connected with Klaus Hempfling? I consider Klaus and Steve the top horse and people trainers.
@@charlotteyoung0911 So happy to hear about Molly! It's such a joy to see and hear you in the videos and George looks so wonderful. Love to you all from Arizona.
Where was RUclips back in the days? We only had the books (that I devoured) and the community. If someone thought this or that was a good plan, that’s what we did! I had Arabians bc I didn’t like the Quarter’s rump! Wish I found your training technique back then.
@Steve Young Horsemanship do you have to ever use a snapple or can you just use a halter. And what do you think about a hackamore? I don't like the idea of putting a bit in their mouth
I believe he’s only riding at a walk a very little and as he said, letting the horses go out to pasture until the next spring for another training and riding and then another pause. At least that is what I understand of the schedule.
I thought you said Chevy was only 2.5 yo just 4 months ago, you're on his back a little young no? he is still in his 2s or just turned 3 right? Am I wrong on this? Over in the U.S. on average, we don't ride until closer to 5. Do you find it okay for the back of a young horse like that?
You’ve done amazing with Chevy Steve! And George is just gorgeous! 😊
Perfect! That’s exactly how to start a youngster. Love your method ❤️
Thanks for the video!😊
Oh Charlotte how beautiful!! Lovely!! And Chevy is such a great boy!! Congratulations to you all!!❤❤❤😊😊😊
Chevy is really looking good and he’s becoming more of a palamino. George is beautiful and Charlotte is going to have a great horse as well
Exciting things to come woo hoo, Charlotte & George look like they’ve been together forever already. ❤Michelle 🇦🇺
I love grey horses---and that Chevy, what a gentleman!

Charlotte, I had no idea she rode, and what a great seat she has at the canter! Wow!
Lovely to hear Molly is staying with you always. How is cute little Darcy, is he staying with you always too.
Awwww I couldn't help smiling all the way through this ❤❤❤❤❤

I remember the purchase of Chevy and Jimmy. Chevy seems to be doing very well.

Beautiful video and GORGEOUS HORSES!!!! Love you guys God Bless!!!!
Can't beat a good Connemara, like the Irish Draught.
It would be really cool to see you completely train Chevy bitless. The process would be fascinating, I think. 😊
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💛
Aww soo cute!! Like old hands! Both of them! Great job with them as usual
How lovely ❤
Happy trails to you all. Love your videos. Thank you.
Lovely video, thank you for sharing. Can we have a little update on Molly and Darcy, we miss them.

Yes - molly will be with me forever :) xx

Fun! Thank you for sharing🥰
Have you been sick Tanya? Feel better❤
Love it all❤
@Steve Young Horsemanship do you have to ever use a snapple or can you just use a halter. And what do you think about a hackamore? I don't like the idea of putting a bit in their mouth
I love George! Chevy looks too small for you IMO.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
👍👍
will Chevy grow anymore? He has a lovely face
Steve mentioned him growing another hand over this year he goes out to pasture.
Lovely ❤😊
I’m very nervous about a grown man riding a 3 yr old, not fully grown horse, so I have to trust Steve knows what he’s doing.
Why would you be nervous? Is Steve too heavy for him?
I believe he’s only riding at a walk a very little and as he said, letting the horses go out to pasture until the next spring for another training and riding and then another pause. At least that is what I understand of the schedule.
@@louisegogel7973 thanks, that makes sense.
if you can ride in a halter you dont need to change to a bit
I was wondering why the need to add a bit too
💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
Chevy is doing great and is lovely as well as Charlotte's new horse. Chevy rides so well in just a halter why not just switch to a hackamore?
I thought you said Chevy was only 2.5 yo just 4 months ago, you're on his back a little young no? he is still in his 2s or just turned 3 right? Am I wrong on this? Over in the U.S. on average, we don't ride until closer to 5. Do you find it okay for the back of a young horse like that?
Hi guys, why are they sent away after you train them?
Are you planning on selling Chevy?
What happed to Ola and Molly?
Ola was sold to someone we knew and molly will always be around :)
What happened to Mollie?
Molly will always be with me :) she’s just off for a few weeks x
What is grass livery?
Too short of a post, a waste of my and your time. And I like watching your post, but not ones under 10 min.
Then don’t watch
why go for the snaffle? @jessedrent bitless bridle.
