This kid doesn't deserve this but my goodness, he is his father's son. Answering hard questions and issues that most hockey players don't even have to worry about. Class all the way.

@@steve8803 , fan support was eroded from the day Glendale was chosen as the arena home. Majority of hockey fans are on the east side of Phoenix... but Glendale gave the owner the most public funds, then he bounced, leaving the team to the NHL Then the owner after that didn't want to (or couldn't) buy big contracts, paired with Chayka being a numbers nerd who ended up screwing us in the 2020 and 2021 Drafts.

Man, so interesting that Josh Doan's playing career start is mirroring his dad's. 1 season, then his team up and relocating. Here's to hoping success and growth for Josh, and many years on the ice for this franchise. Maybe eventually a captaincy???

Gila River Casinos is a casino group who has a sponsorship deal with the Coyotes. They were the name sponsor of their old building in Glendale, but Gila River Casinos doesn't own the actual arena the city of Glendale does. It was renamed to Desert Diamond Arena after the Coyotes left.

@@edenjung9816 you're right. They didn't actually kick them out. The contract ended. I was just arguing the Gila River semantics part of it and saying it wasn't the Gila River Casino that was the one involved in then Coyotes leaving but instead the expiry of the contract between the Yotes and the Arena which was not renewed.
