Another lovely video well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on RUclips bye for now Philip
Wow, whats better than a steam engine/train, usually nothing apart from when its filmed from a vintage aeroplane, two of my loves in one video, thank you... 😊
The penalty charges for a serious delay let alone a breakdown are so great that a diesel at the back is a small price to pay. The Black 5 still made a good noise at the front even with some assistance at the rear.
Plus the 47 had to be there anyway, to power the Mk2 stock. So that pushes the load up to... excuse my guess here, 10.5, on an already overloaded train for a Black Five?
I hope 44871 gets the break it deserves, it’s been EVERYWHERE this year! Great catches!
Lovely vid, complete with wonderful aerial footage and a brilliant soundtrack. Thank you 👍
Cracking aerial footage too. Loved it all!
There was quite a strong north westerly wind blowing and I had a lot of trouble keeping up with the train!
Great video, those aerial shots got to be one of the shots of the year!
Love The Aerial Shots
An excellent first train spotting experience! Thank you for taking me with you xxxx
Glad you enjoyed it! xx
Great video. Both loco's worked hard all day. JG.

Super well done video, what camera are you using?

I see myself at Liskeard, me and my mate asked for whistles at Par and they provided!
Has to be the quickest of the year so far !!
Quite possibly
Black Five. Great workhorses.
What a cracking video
Thanks
How do you get to each location so quickly? It has baffled me for the past few videos, and I just don't get it.
How much mileage has that loco clocked up this year? It must have covered the highest mileage of any steam loco since pre-1968
I would’ve thought at least 13,000 miles by now. I was told a a month or two ago it had gone through 10,000.
Diesel definitely working on the steep stuff - bit of a cheat!
Inevitable with load 9. I think the limit for a Class 5 was about 7. The limit for a Castle (class 7) was nine

The diesel just purring up Hemerdon, putting out a measly extra 1000 horse-power!

@@Matty_1843 Oh yes, I forgot about the West Coast Mk1 fiasco!
