hey man, i am a brazilian Student and I wanna thank you, cuz here in brazil we dont have preparation for the sat in the schools and im preparing myself by watching your videos. I noticed that in minute 11:52 you simplified that expression using that box method, which seems ok but here in Brazil we learn an easier method To factor these quadratic expressions. ( i dont know if you already know this factor method but i feel like i should write you this cuz i dont know if the american schools teach it). Ok ,so the method is: you basically have to take the square root from the first and the last term, use the sign from the second term and square it: 4k2 - 12k+9 square root of first and last term: 2k and 3, using the signal from the second term and squaring it you have (2k-3)2. Im sorry for my bad english but i hope you understood mate, wish you the best you are really helping me a lot!!!
This is a superior method, check this out and tell me what you think: ruclips.net/video/kOTrfD7tr90/видео.html
wait this made it so much easier thank you so much
You’re welcome!!
bruh there is no way i'm doing these in two minutes
You’d be surprised how fast you can go with practice. If these problems are tough for you, do them over and over again.
if you program your calculator with the quadratic formula this becomes a million times easier, as it will only require a bit of mental math afterwards. thanks scalar
Not sure if this is allowed though for the SAT
@@ScalarLearning programs are allowed and in fact many sat courses will have their students put a lot of programs on their calculators.
@@ScalarLearning It's a don't ask, don't tell policy with calculator programs; as long as they don't ask about it, and nobody gets nosy, you're good to go 99% of the time.
I love you man
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Happy to help!
i appreciate you homie
Thank you for your support!!
