There were some things which needs really competitive mindset with OTHERS. I like the concept you need to compete with YOURSELF . What’s your thought on this?
Can you tell me.. how many hours of study is humanely possible for people.. How much do they put in general. I am asking in general because I understand it depends person to person .. But my question is.. in general.. on an average .. how much it is???
If you are in a hurry😉 1. Study From Testable core materials 2. Write Good Notes 3. Active recall 4. Reviewing 5. Midterms 6. Strong Mindset 7. Outwork Everyone 8. Study Partner 9. Stay consistent 10. Control your anxiety Thank me Later💫
as a med student all i can say is believe in yourself and don't get discouraged. Material may seem endless but someone did it before you, someone has already aced that exam, people graduate and get into good so why can't you. Also keep in mind that everyone studies at their own pace so don't let other people's comments stress you out.
Live your life and decide what you want to do when you are older, maybe your parents told you to be a doctor, its a good job but its not for everyone. Do what will bring you happiness in your life. Thank me later.
Make sure you enjoy your teenagers, dont let anyone or anything put you down , dont undersestimate yourself, no one is perfect, its okay to fail its not okay to give up, study hard to reach your dreams , pick good friends, and remember everything is possible.
1- Study from testable core materials 2- How to write good notes 3- Active Recall 4- Reviewing 5- Midterms 6- Strong mindset 7- Outwork everyone 8- Study partner 9- Stay consistent 10-Control your anxiety
So here are some ways to study like a medical student that I've got from this video: 1. Study from testable core materials: The thing is you cannot study everything so just focus on what is important. That's like saying: Stop perfectionism. 2. Active recall: Actually I know this is also called "Retrieval practice", the idea is you actively remember the knowledge that you've learnt without look at those things. More often than not, you might forget something, but don't worry about it. Studies have shown that this can actually enhance the connection to the things you've remembered. 3. Consistency: Of course you have to keep consistent to get good or even master at everything you're learning. Thinking about this, while you're relaxing, the others are trying their best to achieve their dreams. 4. Write good notes: I've read an article about the "30 second method", the idea is everytime you've just finished something such as reading a book, attend a lecture, a presentation, or a study section. Devoting 30s to write down everything you could remember and you'll be fine. Surprisingly, I've taken more than 3 minutes to write all of the above things, so I'll just write the key words. 5. Reviewing: Just like "Spaced Repetition" method. 6. Study harder on mid-terms 7. Control your anxiery and worries
I'm not even a medical student but I know they study harddddddddd! I'm a psychology student that wants to study like a medical student, so thank you very much for this concise video. I particularly loved the technique of controlling anxiety and studying harder for midterm exams!
Desperately needed 10 years ago, did complete opposite of these and suffered from analysis paralysis as well as terrible anxiety. Guess never too late, and greatly appreciated! Just what I desperately needed to hear!

This was so helpful! As a medical student with mild chronic depression it can really be hard to stay on top of my studies. Especially now during the online studying. But this really made me see that eventhough my mental state might not me stable there are things that I can make stable for my studies. Thank you!!

My NURSING BOARD EXAM is drawing nigh and my anxiety spiked up but your video has opened a new window on how to view things in a manner of quality and highly effective study habits. Thanks bro from PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭
I'm in high school, and I'd love to do medicine. So I've been watching your motivational videos, to help me be the best possible medical doctor I can be.

Thank you. I love this motivational speech. I am a nurse practitioner student, a full time nurse, wife, and mother and the struggle is real. Thank you so much.

Managing your time is really important. “You can do anything, but not everything." You need to decide what are the most important things to focus your time on
This video is the most useful and relatable for studying tips I've ever seen. Actually, yesterday was my midtest and I screwed up. I left out a question that costs 11 marks. I don't have time to finish it and the idea to solve it didn't come through. I felt bad for my lecturer because of my stupidity. Watching this video make me realizes that my studying techniques was wronged all this time. I would revise the topic all along from the top to bottom of the page when you act just have to "study from the testable core", and you're right, I don't have enough time to cover all the topic like around 20-30%. And now, I'm spending my 2-3 months worrying about my final test.
Im a medical student And I know i have overworked others I can see them choose sleep or go out or on a vacation but me reading and reading and reading I have always doubts but im always thinking this ....that motivates me to continue " What if i have a patients lifethreatening condition and back then i chose to sleep, ? I would rather loose my hours of sleep than lost my patient forever"
thanks a lot .I am a medical student and very lazy one . Tomorrow is my exam and I haven't looked at my books yet . Am always like that I never study on time but just on exam night .I don't know why but it works for me and haven't failed yet but today it seems I won't pass this time ..But still lets see what happens I have to study whole night .After watching this video I have learned some new techniques hope it will help me .God willing
1.)look 4 practice test, use my resources, study materials. 2.)write good notes, key words, important info. 3.)read info, write down key words, 4.)reviewing 5.)study harder for midterms 6.)have a strong mindset (try my best, be my best, 7.)putting the work in, study 8.)get a serious study partner or a friend 9.)consistency: be consistent n stay on top of ever, so I don’t fall behind. 10.)control my anxiety n worry (study). Wake up early n going to the library n study for amount of hours; focus on what I can control.

This vedio made me cry because i figured out how to prepare , properly . Im going to start again now .
