One frustration while exploring South Korea is that, though public transportation is clean and very available, it takes a while to get to your destination especially if it's outside of Seoul. I'm planning a visit, arriving on new years' eve and I just binged all your channel. If I had done that earlier I would've chosen a better time to visit 😃 But my vacation days are already set in stone. Coming from the hot Arabian deserts, never experiencing sub-zero weather (Celsius). I'm having second thoughts. Do you recommend changing the destination?🤔
Gotta say the work you do is amazing. I learned so much and feel less anxious and more excited for the trip. Definitely the best channel for info about South Korea 💯
SO. It will be cold. For sure cold cold. However, it's hard to me to give an answer because I do love Korea and think each season has it's own beauty to it! If you're coming around Christmas/New Years the Christmas lights are really beautiful! I do think Spring/Fall are better seasons but you can make the most of your trip with the right mindset ❤️

The scenery of those places are so good and I especially liked the one with the lake which you mentioned about the mining that caused the water to appear. Also the one with France looks really good and I like how you posed in those photos.

Hi Megan, loving your content, especially on exploring and navigating South Korea as I will be visiting near the end of the year. Just wanted to ask if you knew if there were options for foreigners to order food and pay using foreign credit cards (as I've heard some food deliveries require a Korean credit card or social security number). Would love to have the option of ordering delivery instead of struggling in the cold :)
Hi yes! Great question~ If you check the description box in any of my videos I have a link to an app called "Shuttle". If you use that link you get a little discount on your first purchase but that app IS foreigner card friendly! 😍 You will need a working phone number here in Korea though to set-up the account. I really wanted to recommend other places but it's kinda far away from Seoul.
However, If you have a long break in the next time, 울릉도(Ulleungdo Island) is quite beautiful place and it's a bit different from Jeju island.

Lovely video! For the North Korea observatory, can you simply just show up here anytime or do we have to book in advance? We have limited days so it’d be great if it’s possible to go here and go at our own pace (and hopefully nice weather to see properly!)

Hi Megan, I bet you have much to do but have you ever thought about adding additonal guides to your shop? I enjoy your airport guide very much and Seoul has so much to offer for visitors (restaurants, sightseeing, tours). Covering these in additional guides (PDF) would generate synergy effects for travelers and would generate additional income. You could sell them single or a little bit cheaper as bundle. You have most of the content already in your YT videos. Just a quick thought. Love your videos.
