I do love mixing pearls, I have made coral, blue violet, red violet, aqua and a ‘plain’ light blue. Fun, but you never know exactly what color you have until a sample dries. You are so awesome Molly. Thank you for experimenting with us. Your ‘craziness’ is one of the things I love about you. This is so cool. Love it Molly. I’m so glad the ‘wrecking’ didn’t end up geometric like it started. Love this! You should try a painting using only some of the pearl paints. For example, maybe use the violet, green, and yellow pearl colors on a dark purple base. It would have a different look than using all the pearl colors.

As you were tilting, I was literally saying, "they look like fall leaves" and then you said something similar! Really love the minimal wrecking tool - my own personal fave is a three-pronged comb with thick prongs. I'd love to see the Amsterdam pearls mixed with pearls from another brand (maybe Blick metallic blue or Arteza metallics. And I bet that softer background would be stunning in a light pink or a light yellow.

Hi Molly great job!!!! Maybe doing the puddles instead of black with a darker base of the pear color or mixing the puddles with different colors and see if it creates new pear color. For example pearl blue with a dark blue puddle or using the same dark blue puddle base with yellow pearl and see how green it turns out. and then all the other many possibilities.. Molly this turned out beautiful. I feel like the ones you did with white covering in spots is very pleasing to the eye. If the one green one on the edge had been had been done with the black out ring you would have had a perfect composition. I would not worry about having all your colors go over the edge. So there is the 2cents from and ole art instructor 😂 Do another one. Your wrecking lines are marvelous

It’s really effective. I have a set of the pearl colours but am waiting until I perfect the puddle pour with plain colours - and also when weather improves. We’ve had pretty consistent rain since September and have to do pour painting in garage so damp not helpful. Roll on Spring!
Not sure how I missed this video because oh my gosh, this turned out gorgeous and was such a genius idea!! Like you said, this opens up SOO many possibilities for the Pearl paints! I honestly think the colors are even prettier on the white background due to the stark contrast! Thank you so much for sharing and experimenting! ** I bet your kitties are getting so big since you shared them with us a few months ago! Back when I owned my grooming salon and doggie boutique, I had 2 sphinx that came in monthly just for baths, and I was obsessed with just sitting and holding them bc their skin was so warm and cuddly! They both had the runny eyes as well but it sure didn’t take away from their cuteness and/or snuggle factor! Give Lucy and Jack a snuggle for me! 🤗💕
