And i forgot to comment how great this battle theme. makes me remember the struggle to go against Hein and Garuda in first walkthrough. Painful. Tho, i keep comin back cause the music composition is great, keep my spirit up :))
I was mad when i had to grind for the garuda fight up to job level 10 fir all 4 dragoons on the NES version since i didn't have to grind in the game up until this point and 10 job levels on everyone AND having to get at least 2 pairs of wind staffs was a hassel.
Just today ive learn to respect the ranger and the scholar jobs. Juat 2 artic winds, a bolley of arrows, and my viking taking and gg garuda( the one that i stugle most is Salamander...)
Not bad, but actually prefer the Dissidia version (one of the few remixes that Dissidia actually improved, because it totally butchered others like the FF7 ones).
@@rapidfire9999 It's not the same as on the DS. The one on the DS seems to use a sound font, it feels alot more muffled and less HD. Maybe because of storage limitations on the DS game cards? It's still a banger there though.
To be fair ff3 is practically the worst one in the series, beaten only by final fantasy 2 because of how weird stats work there, 4 is a vast improvement and there are other turn based rpg,s thar are great

Though I still say despite all its improvements, 4 and even to a degree 5 still stumble a bit on its combat. 6 has some issues but most of those are with its endgame imo. 7 though… it feels like two steps back. And 8 took 20 somehow. 9 fixed a lot of issues for me, but added more. Before 14, 10-1 is the only one I’ve played left (still need to play 12, probably never getting to 11) that still had something I liked in its combat. 13 and XV don’t through everything for me. From there however, I discovered something I do like. A lot more than even base FF. Bravely Default, made ironically by the same guy who produced this remake which had so much cut. Feels like it was made for people like me who love this game even through all its negatives, why still improving and doing something unique with turn-based.
Pixel Remaster just did not do it for me nearly as much as the DS remake versions. The characters being a little bit more of their own, the visuals, just about everything about the game is better lol. FF3 PR would have benefited from atleast re-coloring the characters or something on their sprite when you switch their jobs. Like if I make the whole party into red mages, maybe each of them has a different color feather or haircolor to indicate which character is which. I know the Pixel Remasters try to be as based off the original versions of the games as possible, but I feel like that was just to their detriment. Anytime I play 1-4 of the Pixel Remasters, I can't help but feel like there are better versions that I should be playing instead. 5 and 6 are better on GBA as well I'd say, but I don't feel like I"m missing out as much on those and they're probably the only PR's I personally should have bought instead of buying the whole collection. It's been a while since I bought a game and thought "wow, I actually wish I didn't buy this." (And not because the PR's are BAD--i'm glad they exist for those who don't have other means of playing the older games)
