- This is our first hunt after being froze up for almost a week solid. We were able to keep ducks in the area by running a well to keep a field open so they'd have food and water and not leave. This is the first morning the woods weren't frozen. It had warmed up and rained so the ducks couldn't wait to get back in the timber away from all the hunting pressure around us. It makes for an awesome backdrop and we have a great hunt!!
