In this Walkthrough video, i'm playing and showing a thorough and detailed guide about how to complete the entire Stage 7 in the Sega Genesis version of Streets of Rage 2 [USA] by playing as Axel Stone on the Hardest difficulty setting.

In Streets of Rage 3 you can't throw those fat guys over like that. Unless you choose skate. Even Zan the robot, who are supposed to be ten times as strong as us humans, can't throw those fat guys over like that.

Elevator fight is insane. It is very difficult pass through even without life loss.
Blaze Rhodon Oh man, always hated the elevator section... I always lose a life or two... eh.. sometimes more But I always loved the first theme of the level, kind of a shame it's only heard for such a little time... Also I'm sorry in advance if my English is kind of off... my natural language is German :c Mr/MsBlaze Rhodon
Sunder Shadows Mr Blaze Rhodon, this is boy name (but some girls also have this name) with english and german origin. Really I hate this theme while I play elevator fight, it sounds pretty awful (fortunately I know how to disable this track), it is Mega Drive hardware fault not music composer. Normally I like strong techno in early 90's style but Mega Drive sound chip can not play this kind of music correctly due to limited space in Mega Drive ROM (large ROM space is essential for clever programming to make track sound good). And I found the way how to not lose life in this stage. I recently played hack made by Klares with remade overpowered Blaze on Fusion emulator.

LOL that has to be the most correct analyzation of a character I've seen in years.
I am opposite, I hate this part because of music. Fortunately I know how to disable it, I learned how to hack Mega Drive ROMs using hex editor. But Mega Drive ROMs are too limited for me therefore for my own Streets
of Rage mods I use OpenBoR, I replaced whole soundtrack in these mods.
the elevator scene of level 7 i fuckin love it!!! It fuckin activates my PTSD each and every time where im mashing grand upper non stop!
True that. But too tough indeed even the normal mode. Especially the level with the flying jetpack fighters like griphis, mosquite etc.

I remember te first time I cleared this stage at the boss fight with robots I finished the boss with my last life and at the same time he finished me. I saw the stage 7 clear text. And when stage 8 started the game asked for the input letters for the record board an then it was game over and I couldn't play stage 8 :(
SOR4 you can change retro music. And it would be boss fight Estela Battle music😆 love retro gaming music!!!!!!
very nice stage....I hated losing so much at these higher levels.
A little annoyed at how much players tend to overuse that charge attack :( I wish they didn't make it so usable.

It's in the retro soundtrack, but it's only the beginning part before the elevator. I believe it's during the boss fight with Estel (lady cop).
It's the level 12 y island retro sound track where this song comes up

Axel Stone is saying "Grand Upper", when he pulls off a sliding uppercut into the enemy.
That's been debated for years due to the poor audio quality of the Genesis sound chip.
Some say its "Grand Upper" which sounds reasonable
Other says it's "Bare Knuckle" due to the original Japanese name of the game is Bare Knuckle and he clearly says "Bare Knuckle" in Streets of Rage 3.
