- I love this band and this song and just thought I would quickly cover it :)
I didn't have a tuner so I played it in D instead of C, so I hope you don't mind the melody a little higher then usual. (: It was a little bit hard to sing like this though... Hahaha Just a little.. :S

I enjoyed it, it actually sounds good in D, I had never tried it until I saw this video.

Just don't force your singing in high pitch.
It might permanently change your standard/default/normal pitch into a lower one or something like that ( I don't know the exact term ).

Hey man I actually stumbled across this video about a month ago and I must've watched it at least 30 times...such a powerful cover. I too was interested in your studio version if you'd be willing to email it to RLVBASORE@gmail.com and I also had another question... I was curious if you were just in dropped d and if you might have a tablature or maybe just a quick explanation of how you play the opening riff/ chorus of the song because it sounds (and looks) much different/better than how I play it in drop d on my acoustic following the common tablature floating out there. I think what I've just noticed is that you let up off the index finger for an open strum when going between frets with your ring and pinky fingers ??

I'm actually playing this song in an open tuning instead of Eadgbe its Dadgad.
I havent written out the tabs that I play in this song, I actually figured it out/wrote some of it myself so that might be why you cant find much similar. How I went about learning most of the song was by looking up saosin playing 3rd Measurement In C Live or watching covers and just copying the guitar that other people were playing.
