This is a FULL face of Demi makeup from SEINT-which won’t be for everybody but I thought it would be fun to show you what you can achieve with such a small amount of makeup! This makeup is for anyone-no matter how “problematic” you think your skin is. It’s virtually undetectable because it doesn’t leave behind ANY makeup texture when applied correctly.

I've been following Cara for like 10 years now since waaaaay back before hacing even, I love her and what she stands for! Buuuut...this makeup is so expensive and I cant find any videos or recommendations on how you actually select the colors, and I've looked on her and demis IG and all over the website, there is no clear guide. Demi is feeling a bit MLM/cult like, saying it will change your life but how long does this actually take most people? And how do you even do it? I feel pretty good with makeup but am super intimidated by these palettes. I say these things out of love so you can re-think the approach, since yours is the most transparent video I've found so far. More info is needed if people are going to drop $430 on foundation that the brand says only lasts 6-12 months!
Thank you for your comment and bringing to light your frustrations. It’s such a new concept it’s hard to find the line between sharing with people and overwhelming them. It’s definitely different and there’s a learning curve to making it work. It’s definitely more expensive but I think the company is being incredibly conservative when they say it will last 6-12 months. My estimate is more like 1-2 years. It’s not a 5 minute whole face makeup application like IIID. For a full face it takes me about 20 min. But it took some practice to get to that point. I’ve heard people say that’s too long to look like you’re not wearing any makeup but that’s the whole point! Demi is for people who don’t like the look or feel of makeup. In my book, the benefits (looks and feels like skin, lasts all day, doesn’t require any other setting products) completely outweigh the negatives (time, cost, and learning curve). Also, because it’s so new, artists are still learning and have to be certified before they’re allowed to teach it. Now that it’s available to customers I think you’ll see a lot more tutorials and information going around. And as far as picking your edit-it really is as easy as light, medium, or dark. I have a slew of stories on my IG where I talked more about it yesterday and did a short tutorial. I’m sorry you’ve felt frustrated and I totally get it. Is this replacing the 3D original Seint makeup? I ask this because all of the posts I’m seeing basically disses the makeup look or your original Seint makeup. Is it going away? I love it so much and love the look. This new makeup looks nice but way too pricy for me. The original is a great price point.
It’s not replacing anything! The IIID foundation will always be the original SEINT makeup and you’re right-it’s beautiful and so many people absolutely love it! It’s not going anywhere 🤩 Demi is something totally new and will take a while for some people to catch onto. I think it seems like people are dissing the IIID right now because we’re all just so excited about Demi!! It has all the pluses and none of the negatives of IIID but it’s a higher price point and a new paradigm shift. I still think if you’re going to wear foundation-IIID should be it! 🙌🏼
