i know for the price i was saying! also i respect that line!! thats exactly how i put it! i dont care what you got! your build your taste! as long as you put your passion in it thats what matters!
Amen to that. Everyone’s budget and vision is different also. Rigid is EXPENSIVE! haha. RC is good quality and practical for most folks. I appreciate the Truck builders community. As The ol saying goes, Different strokes for different folks lol.
NinjaSpecter7 I own a cheapo’s and rigid. Depends on the application really. I’ve always been a firm believer in you get what you pay for but my cheap light bar does the job just fine. You are right though on ridgid. They are very expensive LOL
Just got a RC bar the other day. I am quite impressed with it. The wiring included with it is far superior to most light bars that cost 2-3 times more. The bar is bright as shit. I’m sure not the brightest on the market but the naked eye isn’t going to pick up much of a difference. It seems to be well made and durable. You can’t beat the price for the quality. I’d recommend it to anyone unless you’ve got 2 grand to spend on something everyone else can offer for at least 1/4 that then by all means go rigid.
Hello Ryan, thank you for sharing your knowledge on RC products. Can you please share what this product looks like after a year or more? Just like everything else, new products work excellent when they are first installed, but after a year they usually don't work well or look good. Can you share with us what RC looks like after experiencing rough weather conditions?
Great video. Never could get used to those light bars above the windshield or in this case, on the cowl. Why? Reflective light off of the hood and fenders plus, when in sand or dust areas, lights mounted behind the leading edge of the front hood illuminate all of the sand and dust particles at night plus all of the reflective feedback from the hood surfaces. Not all applications will have a solution for this but if possible, lighting should be in front of the hood area for best results.
Chipotle Bowl 😍🙌 Brown rice, black beans, veggies, chicken pico, corn, lettuce, cheese, and guacamole! Yes I know it’s extra 😂🥑 Keep up the awesome videos!
Just ordered the RC 50" Cree straight light bar Dual Row Black Series for my '95 YJ. I like that it's a 3 year warranty. If I would have went with a cheap amazon or ebay one for half the price of the $299, I'd probably have to end up buying a second one later, after light failure and/or condensation. That would put me up to the price I paid for this quality one, with the second one most likely doing the same as the first. Just my opinion. :)
Looking to get a set of the black series round pair for behind the bullet grille on my Atlantic Blue 03. Need a set of those angel eye switches in blue my man.
Hello I think the modifications you made to it are excellent. I was looking for videos to know the quality of those lights. I have a question what is it called or if you have the link of the back bar thank you
We don't have chipotle in Nova Scotia... For real though this video makes me want to get a truck just to soup it up with a bunch of light bars! One on the roof one in the grill, one in the lower Grill that's yellow for fog. Add some bull bars put one on that! Okay maybe not that much. I have a 32 quad row one in the lower Grill of my Fusion and it's great! Good stuff though look forward to seeing your truck get cooler and tougher!
I have the 30” RC black series on my Tacoma and I tell you what I was very impressed with the performance of the light bar, granted they are not Rigid or Baja Designs standard but for what it’s worth the RC LED lights do the job. I did a water crossing at the Mojave Desert at night where I completely submerged the light bar under water and to my surprise these lights kicked ass! No leak what so ever. I think I paid $125 for the light bar.....if you have the money to throw away well then for sure get Rigid or Baja Designs, however if you don’t have that kind of money don’t be afraid to invest in RC LED lights👍😎 Ps: I like that most of the Rough Country LED light bars come with a protective cover when not in use👍
I just got a Single 20” Black Series and so far I’m disappointed in the performance or useable light . There’s definitely no spot beam to it and even when I shut my headlights off there’s no big wow factor with just the bar on. It’s definitely bright looking at the light standing in front of the truck but it’s got no reach. I’ve got 2 Baja Design Squadron LEDs ( 4300 Lumens Each ) on my ATV that out shine and out reach this bar. Is it the design of the RC LEDs or is it just the beam pattern that this bar has or the lack of reflectiveness ?
I bought a eBay light bar over 2months ago for my truck and my cousing got a rough country light bar for his jeep less that a month ago and his has already stared to fog up, but tally agree with what you said about eBay/amazon light bars are a hit or miss, in my case I got lucky and my light bar is really good
I know this is a older video. I just got the 30 in light bar for my 2021 Chevy Colorado not install yet. Would it void my warranty? And will it be a great for my truck? Thanks
Yo I have a 52 inch curved rough country x5 light bar. Brightest light ever. 27,000, lumens. Ima put it on my next truck, gonna buy a longbed crew 4th gen with g56. Had it on my 2nd gen
You obviously never bought or used Rigid or Baja Designs lights or bars. The Rough Country lighting wouldn't hold a candle compared to Rigid or Baja Designs.
David Adkins why you gotta bring that negativity to the channel?? The man said FOR THE PRICE. He is a mechanic that has installed and used almost every line of product out there so I’m gonna say he knows what he’s talking about. I can’t decide if you look more like a fool or an ass right now.
@@trulyhappy8855 Are you his daddy? You get butt hurt because I don't agree with him? I've seen multiple videos of him saying don't cheap out when it comes to your vehicle with tons of products. Well that's kinda being hypocritical isn't it? Rough Country is still on the cheaper side of lighting products. I'm not saying expensive is always best because that not always true. Here is a fact for you Rough Country lightbars isn't a fraction of the quality of Rigid or Baja Designs. I'm speaking from an owner of all these products and Rigid is by far the best on the market. Baja Designs is a very very close to Rigid. Anyone that says different has never owned one clearly.
David Adkins rigid light bars are incredible I’ve installed them on many vehicles! But most people can’t afford $1000 light bars so i bring people a great secondary option of RC which is somewhere in the middle of high end and eBay China light bars. And RC makes the black series. Not sure about rigid never even gave it a thought assuming it was gonna be expensive and i use my light bar on back country roads and at the farm only a couple times a year. Rigid is an amazing company but for the average person RC will handle and give them everything they need to use it for 👍🏼
I had my 40" dual row curved Rough Country light bar for about 5 years. I have had the some of the reflectors inside come unscrewed and fall. I've had condensation in it and also have major yellowing and scratching on the lens. I have 2 led's that do not light up on it. I have tried contacting rough country and they never sent any emails or tried contacting me in any way. I do not recommend them at all if you are looking for longevity. They only have a 3 year warranty as well
I’ve had My rough country 52 light bar for two years and haven’t had an ounce of problems with it, it works perfect the same day I got it, and by the way if you just call them they answer the phone because when I call they answer the phone, so I don’t know why you have any issues

How much light is lost because it hits the hood on the JL ? That has to lose some light doesn't it ?
It looses just a little if angled correctly, at first it was straight off the hood 😂😂 we adjusted it
