Hi, Kate! I am so happy for you and have loved watching your first year unfold. Thank you so much for sharing. I am teaching first-grade summer school starting Monday, the 28th! This is my official first teaching job!!!! You have inspired me to be strong even when my anxiety kicks in!! I wanted to share a resource with you for your second-grade math. On RUclips, the channel, Susan Jones Teaching, is awesome. She has a ton of ideas and games to teach math and literacy to K-2. Easy peasy and highly effective and engaging for students. I have found her an invaluable resource. She also focuses on readers and writer's workshops with a ton of ideas and ways to differentiate! Your curriculum doesn't come with pacing guides?
i'm doing the same for ELA. i have a pacing guide that comes with the curriculum, but i want to know what's happening next, and it needs to be super accessible to me
