Hi great video! Lots of usefull infomation! I am planning a similar trip. Can I ask did you go get dropped of at the probolingo train station at 2pm on the same day as you did the Mount Bromo sun rise or was it 2pm the day after? So you arrived in Banyuwangi on day 5 and did Mount Ijen on sunrise day 6 of your trip?
Also as you are arriving later in the afternoon and doing trips early the following morning did you have to book anything in advance?

Hey just a quick one.. Reckon I'm fine as a solo girl getting around in java alone? I don't fancy a tour! But almost all the advice out there is about a tour etc. For Bromo and ijen bar this video wahhh. Any advice is appreciated thaaanks! X

Hi Katy, going there without a tour made it a special experience, so good that you fancy it in my opinion. I met two girls who traveled Java by themselves (within 10 days only.. so there are plenty of female solo traveller's).. they haven't told me about negative experiences there..in general you have to be aware that some try to scam you. like some taxi drivers.. but that's about it. if you need any other info, let me know. have fun :)

Borobudur is NOT located in Yogyakarta, but in Central Java. Both Central Java and Yogyakarta are NOT East Java.
