Nice lesson, but reminiscent of a thriller.
Coming back to that "downhill" thing. I got a question. going downhill, is "going south" also negatively meant? I heared it about sales. for instance: the sales went south last month. Thank you in advance!
Maybe this expression can be replaced by the verb get/got/getting?
🙌
Hello my teacher.how are you doing?Guess what?I actually follow from Burundi and i appreciate methode of teaching.By the way, where is your colleague?
Hi Liza.
I've got a question.
I watched a video the other day. And there was that expression...
We, entrepreneurs, create companies, we work day and night, we lose sleep and GET GRAY hair to see our vision through- and someone on the other side provides the funding, and just sits and relax while we make them money.
So, my question is... Could we use 'go' and 'get' interchangeably in that case?
How about 'went blind' and 'got blind', 'go deaf' and 'get deaf' and etc? I mean 'go(get) + adjectives'. Are they interchangeable? Do those have the same meaning?
Much obliged and take care!
PS. And yes, that cheese did not go bad... it probably smelled bad but went more expensive. BTW, Could I say "It went more expensive"?
Get and Go aren't interchangeable.
You're going gray. You're getting gray HAIR. It got more expensive because the price went up.
Good reach
When a type of food is not good to eat I heard an expression called "off". For instance The milk is off that means the milk went bad. Is this expression right? Can I use it?
Wow.
👍❤️
Can we say : is he getting bold" ?
,,The couch goes well to the certains,-" is equal to ,,the couch suit certains"?
Sometimes I feel my mind went blank.. 😁
Could you pls make a video of be. As in be will be used in sentences. I'm not referring to is, am, are. As in be is used in a sentence. Why be instead of is, am, are ? What's the difference? When do we use the word "be" ?
Amazing lesson. I'm confused. Went crazy, but got angry. What the differense use go vs get?
The choice between get and go is often determined by a convention rather than a rule. Both of these sentences are correct:
The situation in Ukraine is getting worse. It's going from bad to worse.
@@andreirublev8118 Якщо в Україні й стало трохи гірше, то ми з цим справимося. А от на росії "повна дупа", назад до середньовіччя, і вирватись звідти вам потрібно років 100, та й англійська вам ні до чого.
You're welcome. Always happy to help a confused friend.
Thank you for all these useful examples !

Hi,teacher.

I am goig fury or fluffy in my forty three.
Why not "He's GETTING bald" when there is (a) universal verb GET
Some unfortunate stories told with a big grin!
