Hi, Liza. Would you please teach us about the use of get, become and go? You're a great teacher and I'm pretty sure a lot people are learning a ton from your lessons. Keep it up! Cheers.
Thank you so much both teachers. It is the best channel I have ever watched.I am from Yemen. My mother tongue is Arabic and I am learning English. The best way to learn a language is just by people whose their native language is English.I apprecite your efforts.
Coming back to that "downhill" thing. I got a question. going downhill, is "going south" also negatively meant? I heared it about sales. for instance: the sales went south last month. Thank you in advance!
Thanks.. would you say that He ´s going bald is equivalent to He ´s getting bald or The apple is going bad/is getting bad . So get has it the same meaning, Is it interchangeable ?
Hi Liza. I've got a question. I watched a video the other day. And there was that expression... We, entrepreneurs, create companies, we work day and night, we lose sleep and GET GRAY hair to see our vision through- and someone on the other side provides the funding, and just sits and relax while we make them money. So, my question is... Could we use 'go' and 'get' interchangeably in that case? How about 'went blind' and 'got blind', 'go deaf' and 'get deaf' and etc? I mean 'go(get) + adjectives'. Are they interchangeable? Do those have the same meaning? Much obliged and take care! PS. And yes, that cheese did not go bad... it probably smelled bad but went more expensive. BTW, Could I say "It went more expensive"?
Get and Go aren't interchangeable. You're going gray. You're getting gray HAIR. It got more expensive because the price went up.

When a type of food is not good to eat I heard an expression called "off". For instance The milk is off that means the milk went bad. Is this expression right? Can I use it?
Could you pls make a video of be. As in be will be used in sentences. I'm not referring to is, am, are. As in be is used in a sentence. Why be instead of is, am, are ? What's the difference? When do we use the word "be" ?
The choice between get and go is often determined by a convention rather than a rule. Both of these sentences are correct: The situation in Ukraine is getting worse. It's going from bad to worse.

Amazing lesson. I'm confused. Went crazy, but got angry. What the differense use go vs get?
