The last few years the instrumental - cinematic - ambient "Post-Rock" has just exploded. The creativity and experimental music / sounds is phenomenal. 99% of these musicians make no money or recognition. The bands, some 1 person, from Eastern Europe are producing some of the freshest sounds that I have listen to in a long time. Classically trained teenagers are getting my "what the f==k was that" from experimental ambient to Post-Metal. One big problem is wading through 10 to find 1. They are all on Bandcamp and 90% free or pay what you want. Even though the files are huge download FLAC, there is a huge difference in sound quality.

that picture is so dreamy... makes me feel like I want to be alone, to be left there sometime just for a couple days... I wouldn't care it that giant thing was about to eat me, listening to this song makes even the worse and loneliest scenario something beautiful.

Whenever I'm in a certain place, I always come back to this song. I don't know why. For the better part of ten years, it's been my music for a certain mood; and I love it.
I've been listening to this since around the time it came out. Just three days shy of being five years and this piece is still as amazing, memorable, and inspiring as it was when I first heard it.
I've lost count on how many times this track has played itself on a reflex, in my mind
I can't thank you enough for sharing this artist, this cover has just saved me from the most troubled night.

This makes me feel like i can beat dark souls, awesome music , i could just hear it in my head someone singing, amazing .
its recorded on an electric kit thats why! you can tell because the tone of the ride bell is exactly the same every time, aswell as some of the other drums
also another reason being because most post-rock bands/producers for some reason are renowned for home recording and using digital techniques to record there sounds and tracks opposed to recording real amps and drums they will use electric kits like roland and guitar rigs like AxeFX and guitarpro. :) hence the often high-ended digital sound!

I don't know. I found the image by taking a screenshot of the picture on the video and searching in google images by that picture. Now I tried to search again for this image in order to find the artist and I found better version that's 1920x1200. time is the illusion of space as is space the illusion of time. we created time to move in and we created movement to spend time in... time is a very lonely place, it takes a breath to notice the value of time and space. look around you and tell me what you see, the matrix?
no, i'm a blind man typing at the moment, i can see without my eyes, i have seen far beyond time herself
did you know the before the stone age, we were much smarter. the polar shift wiped out the human memory and reset everything, we became scared of fire and the seas. our lifespan grew shorter and shorter and eventually we dwelled in a world built in fear, dominance and survival (Google how magnetic fields can empties the mind when they are absent, it happens to the first 2 astronauts)
look around you, war is silly, i grew up learning that fighting never solves anything. we are all brothers and sister and its time we wake up, look at how beautiful the world is... how beautiful humans are... learn to see again...
you can find out the meaning to life if you look deep enough
Life has no meaning. We humans, created the concept of meaning recently. The idea did not exist before we were here, in the past 14.5 billion years.
With that being said, you can make your life have meaning. It's up to you to decide what It'll be.
+Sexual Potatoes Everything has a meaning, Lifes meaning it to survive by fighting its fear of death. We as humans do it all wrong haha we have built a platform of which we can't see the faults in out hearts. Now if the purpose of life goes beyond that i dont know. It would be super cool if there is this astral realm/heaven after death.
I like to think of life as a collective experiences to appreciate the very fact we exsist (look at the conditions just outside our planet, black holes and super novas). It's a collection of emotion we bring together to appreciate love for without hate there is no love. Without no sadness there is no Happiness.
What do we do with these experiences. Live them and find out :D

i elieve postrock is a genrea of music that will never get old.....- there will always be bands that can create something new.....but i also believe it is the culmination of music.....- we are coming to the final TEST....were we will be judged.....
