Make that sword to help with close combat, and doing the shrines helps get the withered out. That’ll help if you haven’t done the shrine on the island

How is that you dont get damage in the withered areas? what is your magic?

Try make the purple potion from the Alchemy station or interact with the glowy tree (temporarily disables the withered poison)

canti tame flying mount in this game?

i haven't found one yet.. but i would find it unlogical to add a flying mount
