30 years later and still a timeless album🤘🤘🤘
People often point to the later albums as the period where PL began displaying their Sisters of Mercy influence, but you can hear it as early as this song. It's like a Body and Soul-era track transposed into death metal. And the first verse gets me every time, it adds to the oppressive gloom I feel in this song.
I was so glad to hear this album being given the respect it deserves 25 (and now 30!) years down the line. Look forward to getting this!
