I stopped sleeping to watch the history of your elephants. For years my focus was orphanages in Africa , eventually Asia plight 😞 to captivity I'm a zoo or circus setting ( which most people in the USA are oblivious to any of their suffering and challenges. People say : I love elephants 🐘 and know onky that they are "cute". Nothing more. ❤️
not too long ago people didn't realize circuses with animals were a bad thing. people continue to learn and evolve and we all need to make sure we are part of that process and growth. 💜
Well come home Mara. She ust wants to hide in the dust and sleep. She is going to sleep and after she's rested, slowly realize her life has transformed to heaven from he'll. Thank you Scott and all of your family and crew. Blessings.
Cant believe this was just a month ago. I look back at it now and Mara had now idea what a fabulous life was waiting for her!! Her bestie was soooo close!
South American countries are so progressive in animal welfare! They were the very first to ban life animals in circuses...and now Zoos are making changes...Full of respect to those countries, their governments and of course their people..:-)...so well done...

When she lies down we can see how cracked her footpad (the one we can see) is. That is a sad testament to her previous life and how ignorant the caregivers there were. She was probably walking on hard surfaces for most, if not all, of the time. Such a shame what the gentle babies went through for "entertainment" while those watching were oblivious to that suffering. 😢💔🏴
