There is a difference between passionate and consensual in good, healthy relationships, and obsessed and abusive (and murderous) which is what is shown in _Heathers._ This is why context and communication are so important.
I never see any appreciation for the way JD and his dad's dialogue was written (with them playing each other's roles and speaking in cliche "wholesome" lines). It's so unique and clever. I also love the subtle vibe of insanity in their interactions.

And for the concept of Yandere Simulator, Yandere Dev suggested Kokona could be the reason that all these females are murdered in those 10 weeks Yandere-Chan is at school. Both Kokona and JD's dad planted the idea of mass murder inside of the antagonist's head. So yes, it is possible for Kokona, Yandere-Chan, JD, and JD's dad to all go to jail. Kokona and JD's dad for assistance of mass murder, and Yandere-Chan and JD for mass murder. It's actually fascinating once you think about it.
