    Awesome job mate!
    If the floor of the pit was removable, you could have multiple floors made up, bloody fight pit, wet sewer floor, bottom of wishing well, etc .
    Love it tho

      Ohhhh that's a great idea! I might have to make some extra peices that can fit into the base. Thanks for the inspiration!

    When gluing chains like those into smaller bits of terrain, I like to use a short piece of very small gauge wire and pin that into the terrain piece first, with just enough of the wire exposed so as to act as a “hook” for the chain. Just put a tiny dab of glue onto the wire and use some tweezers to place the loop of the chain onto it, it should hold pretty well and is fairly quick and easy.

    • @SebMakesStuff
      @SebMakesStuff  Год назад

      Great idea. I think that's the way I would go in the future. Maybe even redesigning the bollards to have a small hole in them to poke a thin peice of wire through to hold it all in place nicely.
      Great advice 👌

    Nice build, I've been thinking about a fight pit build. It would be fun to watch your campaign

    • @SebMakesStuff

      It was a fun simple build, and theres so many different ways that you could approach it.
      Im really hoping we can get our campaign up and running on youtube and ill be sharing it out once we know more.

    I’m trying to replicate this for my first ever dnd build along side your others but I have no idea where to get the little scenery from like the weapons and the shields etc this is trully amazing as well

    • @SebMakesStuff
      @SebMakesStuff  Год назад +2

      There's 2 ways too approach the weapons. Most of the ones in this build are 3d prints. I'll add the links to the video description of where i got these ones.
      But if you don't have a 3d printer you can usually get a heap of spare weapons form sprue miniatures. I have a few boxes of extra bits for kitbashing that I've collected from old Warhammer and other sprue minis over the years

      Oh dam! I'm gonna have to get my shit together and get a few more videos out. I've been so irregular in here because of times, but also because of times I have a pile of feywild related builds coming very soon. Just can't put them up till we've played the game haha. Don't want to spoil the players for what I have in stall for them. Thanks for your support aswell mate, means the world

      And three towers for the Posh audience to sit, safe distance and better view. Or even a gangplank overtop for the announcer / referee. Or a crane to drop monster-cages in! So many wild possi-Billy-Ties! Tanx Seb.

      I feel like this build can be expanded on in future games. Love the idea of cages dropping down, making some kind of crain system hanging over top would be sick!

    Hey Seb, you know, that you can also cut MDF with a Cutter? But like the hard foam you will need multiple cuts... :) And after that maybe a new blade - just snap the old one off.

    • @SebMakesStuff
      @SebMakesStuff  Год назад

      Yer ive seen people use them, and i probably would have done the same but lucky for my my room mate owns a jigsaw haha. I did pick up a fresh blade with the expectation of cutting it out tho

    • @SebMakesStuff
      @SebMakesStuff  Год назад

      I would highly recommend it! It was a super fun peice of terrain to play on. And I think with a few tweaks it could become more reusable. Maybe making a cage for the top of the hole would make it into another cool dungeon room or prison

    A question please, does the mod Porte mix really necessary? What happens if I paint right away? Thank you 🙏🏻

    • @SebMakesStuff
      @SebMakesStuff  2 месяца назад +1

      It depends what paint you're using.
      If you try to spray paint directly into foam you will destroy it. The spray paints melts the foam. So the nod lodge acts as a protective layer.
      The mod podge layer also helps to seal the foam, giving it a slightly tougher exterior. which is good for long term survival especially if it's being used for games

    You tried way too hard with that rust. That color mix looks more like cheese puffs and trail mix that's been stepped on.

      Ahh well, I was happy with it and the only way to learn is to try things

    • @mattpace1026
      @mattpace1026 7 месяцев назад

      @@SebMakesStuff No, the way to learn is to acknowledge criticism, take it into consideration, and use any advice you take away from it. By your logic, people can learn to be invulnerable by hurting themselves.

    • @SebMakesStuff
      @SebMakesStuff  7 месяцев назад

      It's art, experimentation is a great way to learn. And you're using a bit of a slippery slope phalasy there to compare it to injury and invulnerability.
      Try giving actual advice next time, rather than just being negative and you might get a response that acknowledges your opinions

    • @mattpace1026
      @mattpace1026 7 месяцев назад

      @@SebMakesStuff Man, if that's how you handle a little pressure, I can't imagine how pathetic you are in day-to-day life. I was using hyperbole to demonstrate how nonsensical and oversimplified your logic is.
      Oh, and by the way, it's spelled "fallacy," not "phalasy."

    • @SebMakesStuff
      @SebMakesStuff  7 месяцев назад

      What pressure? Nothing you've said so far has added any value to the discussion, the only value is in the RUclips engagement of the continued comments.
      Next time you want someone to take your criticism try making it constructive, otherwise you kinda just come accross a bit sad
