She will protect him still. We are not just our lives. We qre our memories, our friend's memories of us. All life ends, but you will always be there. Even after you are completely forgotten, you live on within the people you have influenced, and the ones they influenced themselves. So yeah, she knew he was dying. She will still protect everything he is.
It looks to me that he's just taking a nap. And yes, I know about the premise of The Answer, but I think that when they made this specific ending, they intentionally left it ambiguous. Meaning, you cannot say that MC died in that specific moment.
@@CATinBOOTS81 it's canon, he died there. The Answer/Episode Aigis is canon, and the community overall agrees. It's sad, but also bittersweet: he sacrificed himself to save humanity... This is why ppl usually call him emo Jesus.
@@RedDragonLVSSRS you know that until Episode Aigis come out, you cannot be sure? They literally changed Nier Replicant canon ending in the latest remake (ending E), why Atlus cannot do something similar here? Until it is explicitly stated in this game or the DLC, it is not canon, but speculation.
When she says "If its for you, nothing's a waste, my life will have meaning." It hits me so hard. I've been in Aigis' position staying by a loved ones side during the big C. I have a deeper understanding of this monologue now. Its incredibly beautiful and this remake is a 10/10 for me.
