I love this fountain and never had problems cleaning it, but after I cleaned it last time the pump stopped working

I cleaned it for the first time after using it for 3 weeks. It’s was gross. I changed the filter and cleaned like you did in the vid. Is it okay to rinse the filter under water and put back? How long is each filter supposed to last. I plan on cleaning once/week now.

​@@CKArts.studio6 I usually clean the fountain out about once a week. Most of the time I just rinse the filter and put it back, but once it gets irredeemably gross (usually after 4-6 weeks) I put in a new filter.
