- Hello. In this video i review the Yokoda Akina Speed Runner AKA Toyota AE86 Trueno, Its known by its drift capability like in Keiichi Tsuchiya video or magazine and the famous initial D, Is the Akina Speed Runner AKA AE86 really meant to drift?

I can manage M/T (I main the Esprit V8 but I'm more of a C1 person though) but I just have ass lines to begin with, so I think it may be best I stick with A/T or S/T.
i can only use s/t ;-;
My brain isnt good enought to make so many things at the same time too
I use it in s/t and my downhill run is 3:56
I drove the Altezza a little while back, and its essentially the AE86 with a bit more power and a lot more weight. It fishtails even easier than the 86, probably even more than most cars that have low grip.
That altezza is bit boring for me

Here's a tip don't force it to drift let the understeer make it drift and counter steer if you found the perfect angle to just hold your throttle.
And don't worry about exiting a corner you will exit smooth since it's a under-powered car so it's alot smoother than high powered car

@@benziyuricasas6450 clutch kicking and braking is a way to make the car go sideways, if you have good control you might pull it off exiting with 80-90 speed, even if its underpowered it just depends on how you enter a corner.
The one bad this is that drifting is slow but all the car wants to do is drift so I never get a month exit and have to wait longer to get the power down

honestly it's a pretty god beginner car. i main this because i just like drifting in it imo but idk about u guys
Edit: istg it’s real satisfying beating a bad driver with a tier 3 gtr or Supra in a tier 1 86, just like how takumi beat keisuke with an inertia drift in an 86
in the acceleration test i recommend you to dont steer, if you dont steer you will get a better acceleration in the car.

The S13 seems to be the best tier 1 car, but while it's rare, you can find someone who can fling the 86 pretty hard.
Edit: Would the S13 sit in underrated or overrated? I see them drifting, never properly racing

the AE86 in MR:T doesn't handle like an actual AE86.
it's suspension is a rock, that's why it's so hard for me to learn new lines in the dang thing

Hmmm just a tip when you are drifting press b and when you are initiating the drift release the throttle and when you are in the middle of the corner full throttle I almost won against an fd using that trick I was like 1 cm away

fact: The sticker doesn't say "Fujiwara tofu ten (private)" but instead says "slow driver (sad)" so if you use this sticker in front of a Japanese Roblox player they would laugh at you.
It's difficult to drift it and I can't even do a clean full drift with because it slows down

I trained to use toyota ae86 in mid so when your mid of the corner you have to swing your car so your can lose the grip and u can drift 200 or 190 or faster = bad steering or getting ready to swing on a small corner

It needs proper tuning to be a good car. Also never race it uphill, that's rule 1 on how to lose a race in an ae86
even takumi himself never race uphill except that one time
2nd gear for turns like hairpins and 3rd gear for longer turns
