Awesome showdown! The way these rigs perform is just top class! Interesting point of note...these are one of your best builds and the cheapest to! Inventiveness, creativity and experience is way more important than deep pockets! Cheers and thank you for another great video. Cheers
Awesome video, we run a class here locally that you must run a stock frame (unmodified) stock skid plate and stock transmission in the stock location. Body must cover the frame rails and 4.75 inch tall tires or less and its super competitive and a great class we call it pro stock! These trucks remind me if them and they are super capable.
Both did awesome, but time marches on and SV2 seems to be new King of the Rock. Now we need a head to head again Optimus 3 and then against Mjölnir! 👍🏼
That was great !!! It’s been long time coming. I think sv1 might not be king of the hill any more. Could u show or explain how n what u trimmed to get a better turning radius thanks I loved the video keep up the great work
Some part of me was hoping sv1 did get the win, maybe because of all the vids you have made of it.🤣 Think the name of that is called feelings 🙈🤣 would be a little sad if sv2 didnt make it a bit better overall. Cant wait to see more of sv2! 😎 And Joe, your awsome!😁 Thanks for another epic video 💪😎
@@ExocagedRC there aluminum now but if I had to guess the old plastic "splined end" housings with cheap aluminum knuckles might be +5g over 1 piece stock housings. Probably depends on quality of aluminum. Might be worth weighing plastic splined housings with different brand knuckles.
I'm shocked sv1 isn't lighter personally. But the magic weight is somewhere between 4.5 and 5 lbs for me. My capra based rig is 4.5lbs and I know I can cut more weight. But the only reason I would cut weight would be to add aluminum housings. Yet, I'm torn as to if I should go aluminum housings. If anything I'd just do the front.
Joe, you list links for some shock springs for the SV2. I clicked the link but apparently those "black" springs are discontinued. Were those stiffer or softer than stock (I'm still learning!)? did you run them all the way around or just front?
hi, on my side i prefer superlight 1, but i haven't tried it 😉. the V2 seems to me to be too light, the tires have more difficulty to hang on certain parts of your video. I wait for the next test to give me a better opinion. always such beautiful videos, thank you
The price speaks for the V1 the specs for the V2. What about comparing these two vehicles without using the dig function in the V2. I think that would be a tight battle.
I couldn't give a clear win to either of them. They both perform great. Put them up against most anything else and theyll come out on top. The dig feature really helps sv2!
I feel climb time should have been in this competition. Also on the gap of doomi wonder if SV1 acted as a warm up for you, making SV2'S time easier. Great rigs regardless
Awesome showdown!

Cheers
Thank you very much! Yeah to replicate SV1 its easily under $500 total
That was your best vs video yet; so epic. Going down cliffhanger was awesome! The more i see sv2 the more i love the body. Keep up the great work
Great driving Joe. Driver mod: ON!!!😁

At 13:50 ... I think ya got a good chance of crawlin down the tree in the background Joe! Very Nice Brother!
Man that V2 going down on the cliff was epic! Makes me want to build that thing LOL. Almost more epic with that v1
Both did awesome, but time marches on and SV2 seems to be new King of the Rock. Now we need a head to head again Optimus 3 and then against Mjölnir! 👍🏼
Excellent showdown , they're both awesome rigs , thanks for sharing joe , 👍🏻👊🏻🇬🇧
This video was awesome, these trucks are fantastic, incredible builds.. This channel rocks, pun intended.
Glad you like them!
This was epic. I've been wanting a scx10 ii creep build (with dig) but after watching them go down cliffhanger, I HAVE to make one soon.
yeah that was wild, I did not expect SV1 to get that without dig.
That was great !!! It’s been long time coming. I think sv1 might not be king of the hill any more. Could u show or explain how n what u trimmed to get a better turning radius thanks I loved the video keep up the great work
I'll see if I can show that, it wasn't much
Been waiting for this! Both are amazing trucks! Love them both but SV2 is the winner!
Great showdown! Looks like this round goes to SV2!🔥 Looking forward to the next!
Epic drive!! And knowing your driving one handed!! # 2 is better!! In my opinion!!
Yep, them are some crawling machines! I don't know if you have another truck that can make either of these look bad...
Right on Joe we've all been waiting for this sv1 did good but sv2 is a absolute beast

You really need to get one of those punks customs carbon bumpers for sv1. Great vid man. Your driving is killer!👍🤙
I probably will. That broken red one is horrible. LoL
@@ExocagedRC the punks customs one would look good on the creep body.
Absolutely epic builds
Enjoying the content Exo!
Make the superlite turn as well as the sv2.
I have plans to update the steering on SV1 in the near future.
2 absolute units
My trail honcho went through 2 one piece front axle housings before I swapped in a housing with attachable knuckles. One piece is a headache.
yeah but how heavy was it?
@@ExocagedRC there aluminum now but if I had to guess the old plastic "splined end" housings with cheap aluminum knuckles might be +5g over 1 piece stock housings. Probably depends on quality of aluminum.
Might be worth weighing plastic splined housings with different brand knuckles.
@@ExocagedRC also with splined you can change caster.
That’s a bad ass spot the camera does not do it justice
" I brushed my hair!", hilarious!
Nice Mr. Exo ✊🏽

its actually lighter with plastic wheels, but it runs so well with the metal ones, they add 1lb

Fair enough, I do think the rear needs a bit lighter foams but can't find any right now
@@ExocagedRC thank you 👍👍👍💯
Joe look more nervous than a cat in room full of rocking chairs 🤣 good vid Joe. Check out Gspeed chassis !!!
😀 I did but with these being $15 I just went back with it.
CCW all day😈 not gspd!!
great builds
Omg that truck is unreal
Are you running 3s or 4s in sv2. Thanks your vids rock
The Corrupt Carbon Works carbon reaper shock towers will bolt right on those rails. Sv1 & SV2 Are both awesome builds
Their made for a corrupt chassis not cheap eBay one 😈
They work great on the cheap ebay chassis
Srry Rc fam to each his own ✊🏽
i always tell my youtube friends exo is a trooper he dont even brush his hair just jumps up and goes to uploading ....you making me look like a liar 😆
lol sorry!!
Your driving and capability of your builds impress the hell outta me, wouldn't mind taking you out west to hurt some feelings.
I’d love to go man. Time and $$$ are my issues.
Can a vehicle be too light? Meaning there is not much weight pushing down on the tries and they just slip
yeah and it gets tedious tuning for really light vehicles
As I'm watching you I am over here turning my phone trying to help you lol
lol man SV1 was not giving in easy at all
The price speaks for the V1 the specs for the V2. What about comparing these two vehicles without using the dig function in the V2. I think that would be a tight battle.
Mate those 2 crawlers are absolutely epic!! Great footage as always. Greetings from the UK 👌
Thanks 👍
Hi Joe, what esc are you running no the sv2?
Prototype quiet Esc
I couldn't give a clear win to either of them. They both perform great. Put them up against most anything else and theyll come out on top. The dig feature really helps sv2!
😂. Had to brush the hair for this one 💪👊
Awesome show!
i need a cigarette after that downhill battle
it was sketchy for sure
Round 1!!! Sv1- 9-8-8 Sv2- 8-9-9
Lol yay I’m awesome but you’re more awesome exo and so are you’re rigs
Another interesting test would be SV2 vs your C3 truck given that it’s probably C3 given that it has dig
Pretty sure unless there is a 4ws specific spot, SV2 will get the win on that
Finally!😍
Morning from the uk
Morning!
I need one of those esc
Holmes Hobby sells them now
I'm so nervous about this one I brushed my hair. Hahahahaha
I feel climb time should have been in this competition. Also on the gap of doomi wonder if SV1 acted as a warm up for you, making SV2'S time easier. Great rigs regardless
possible, did you see the bonus footage? Its climbtime
@@ExocagedRC yes SV1 seemed to have went up a little easier. That truck puts up a fight!
how did you get SV2 to turn so tight?
Good videos 👍
What brand is the sv2
axial 10ii builders kit is the base
Sv2 all day long!
Sv2 looks like it has a slightly wider stance
Ok I know what your say. I will gladly take sv1 off your hands!!! Seriously!##🤘🤘🤘
I don’t think it’s luck lol
