  • In this Short style video we talk about the Toolpath Summary feature in Carveco and how to fix the data needed to ensure accurate carve time estimates. These corrections are often overlooked by new users and are a quick and easy fix to have very accurate timing for future jobs. Carveco is the new name of ArtCam 👍

Seth, do you remember or know the rapids for the OneFinity? Could you post the formula you showed in notepad? Thank man

(Actual time ÷ estimated time) × current time scale factor = corrected time scale factor.
After entering the new time scale factor click calculate and the estimated time should match your actual time for that sample carve 👍

Any chance you can tell me why from carveco I get a machine time of 3 hours but when I export it to easel its 4 times longer?

Most likely its the issues covered in this video... the max feed isn't set and the time scale factor (basically a derivative of acceleration rate) hasn't been determined and set yet.

@@SethCNC Does an 11 inch circle fairly detailed cut seem to you like 15 hours is a good estimate or does it seem way too long?

@@Ashes12962 stepover feed AND plunge rate makes a big difference for a 3d finishing toolpath, if you've roughed then you can bump that plunge to the cncs Max plunge setting to cut down the most time possible..
