the diesel Loco-Sound is my childhood, my McDonalds RTR set my grandfather gave me when I was an infant has the Loco-Sound and it's my favorite out of all the diesel sounds
Thanks for your comment. Loco-Sound is very unique and fun. I just purchased a GS-4 American Freedom Train set with Loco-Sound. I plan on featuring this set in my upcoming July 4th video. Thanks for watching!!
The diesel's LocoSound horn appear to be an RS3K
Thank you for the info. Much appreciated
Nice video man !!! But where did you get that Bluetooth adapter and cord?
Go to Amazon.com and search Bluetooth receiver. The are very inexpensive. Thanks for watching.
How do you get the proto cast to work
Hi,
You must have the MTH remote lockon (MTH item #50-1012) connected to your track. Plug an audio source into the lockon labled Proto-Cast (uses a 1/8" jack). Power up the engine and start playing music. It will be transmitted through the engines speaker. I prefer connecting a Bluetooth Receiver to the lockon and using my iphone as the audio/music source. You can purchase a Bluetooth Receiver on Amazon for $20 - $30 (I use the J22). Engine sounds (diesel rev or steam chuff) will be automatically muted while the music is playing. When the audio source is turned off or disconnected from the lockon, the engine sounds will resume. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope this helps.
@@Newts_Trains it dos I just got a loco sound 2-8-0 and hade no clue it could do this I'm looking into getting the lock on and did not see any thing on the remote for it I did not realize you just plug it in
@@dmetzger24 It’s pretty easy to setup once you have the pieces. Let me know when you get it working.
Be sure to purchase the remote along with the lock-on. They are usually sold as a set. You need the remote to control the speed, direction, whistle & bell.
I just ordered one off of ebay it should be here next week it dos have the remote but no power I have a z750 a frend is letting me me borrow
