is the MTH PS32 5v stacker board all thats needed when fixing a subway car? i have a dead board so im looking to replace it. is the PS32 board the same as a PS3 board? Thanks for any clarification
PS32 isnt the same as a diesel PS3 board, a PS32 board is just another name for a stacker board, the internals of the board are similar to PS3 though. To replace a PS2 board you'll need: -A PS32 5v stacker board (AE10000355V) -A stacker heatsink (IC0000026) -A 4 ohm speaker, for that you'll need to check the diameter of your current speaker and order the appropriate replacement, I am not 100% sure of what the R36 subway is, but the R21 is a 50mm speaker, I assume the R36 is probably the same but you should measure to make sure You'll also need a TIU and a windows computer to flash the chain and sound files. Good luck!!
Very nice good information
Nice! I have a loco sound train that I think I’ll try this on.
let me know how it goes!
