@@lorenzeberle987 ahh you are lucky. I was a babysitter for a while and I'll preserve food in the fridge, but some parents just throw out the food if their kids don't finish. Might go bad.
Which water companies extract matter from the waste to make biogas? Surely it's more environmentally friendly to use the food waste disposal provided by almot every council in the country?
The secret is sewage treatment. Generally, that process yields treated water that is discharged or recycled, and “biosolids” that are basically fertilizer, and often used as such. Biogas collection depends on the plant - not all do it, but many do as it helps reduce any odors the plant would otherwise emit.
Completely unnecessary headache in your kitchen I haven't seen them in Europe but first time here in US. It stops working, get clogged etc, all kind of problems while you can simply waste food leftovers in garbage
I have found that the only food type that doesn't grind down in garbage disposal units is fruit stones. Including those from avocado, mangos and peaches.
Why would you cook a meal, then only eat half of it and flush the rest down the drain? I never understood this concept. Somebody can explain?
Pretty common if you have kids that eat by themselves
@@ts-rg1dv I have a kid. I still don't see why this means to throw a lot of food away
