I remember in the OG Sonic Adventure always trying to line up that last zipper before the ramp with the beat drop. Doing the boost in this on the beat is that feeling times ten.
Notice that, as the level progresses, the sky gets brighter. Why? Because it's _at dawn._ It's a subtle but amazing reference to the end of the level in Sonic Adventure.
People say that these levels are "Not sonic" But they are straigth up wrong. These levels have multiple paths that train less experienced players and more difficult to reach paths/shortcuts that reward experienced players with a better time and goodies. Every time I see someone saying "Boost is not Sonic" its just like... Ugh... ¿Who are you to say whats sonic and whats not? There are things that i dont like tho, there are some levels that are so huge that they feel like giant maces that dont have any direction or every section feels the same, especially in the classic games. Thats the reason why i preffer playing SA1 and SA2, because those games have more memmorable stage layouts and over all, have all of those shortcuts and higher paths but also arent so huge that i get lost in them.

The only time it tbe best felt appropriate for these people was the rush games because of the nature of thier games meant to make you feel like you're having a rush while playing. 0:59 I swear the first time I played this level the windows shattered as I was running down them. It was such an awesome moment, but I was never able to recreate it nor have I seen anyone else do it. Maybe it was a glitch where the walls thought I was running sideways? I really wish I could have shown it. It looked awesome.
@@levthelion71810 Nope, it's a clear memory of heading towards the camera with the police chase. It lasted for several seconds. My best guess is that it was a glitch because I stuttered at the top or soemthing and the game thought it WAS that section. As far as glitches go though, I like that one.

In sonic adventure the movement was always so inconsistent. It’s really incredible how much they have improved Sonic’s control over the years. Speed highway was my favorite level in Sonic’s story because it was the one level the bad controls seemingly didn’t bother me as much.

I don't like how this stage was chosen as the Adventure 1 stage. It's too similar to City Escape. I would make Emerald Coast the beach level and make the Heroes level Casino Park or Final Fortress.
