I did this route late last month, also on both services. The InOui train had the dirtiest windows ever. The DB train was much cleaner. Though the InOui train had the better lounge car.
Dirty windows doesn’t sound fun! Otherwise sounds like we had similar experiences. At least with the stand up counters on the inOui cafe people couldn’t just camp out the whole trip.
@@GilbertTravels At least we managed to get a place to sit and eat my Currywurst and Brotchen on our DB leg of the trip. It was served in a ceramic bowl too.
ICE seems pretty comparable to AMTRAK........ 😂 That looks like a really nice way to travel! It would be awesome if trains in the US were as nice. Thanks for the tip on the dining car. And thanks for the info + video! Hope ya'll had a great trip!

Yea, the meal situation would have been better if I wasn’t getting on the train half way through the journey. Overall a nice way to get around.
