my memory trick for anticonvulsants to avoid seizures you need to make good pasta, and good pasta includes carbs (carbamazepine), acid (valproic acid) and lamons/lemons (lamotrigine)
Another cool chicken for lithium that I thought of was lithium sounds like ick and yum, which are "polar" opposites. Therefore, they are for bi"polar" disorder!!
I thought Lithium was obsolete these days..Had a girlfriend, she is/was bipolar but refused to take her medication although her mother & aunt insisted so she ended up in the psyche unit again...Thanks Ms.Cathy P. for this valuable information.
Thankyou. 20 years lithium but been hospitalized 10 times. Dr never offered me other option just added on serequel but I can’t handle the serequel. Any advice? Carbamazepine or depakote or somethime else?
Memory trick I made: Val (valporic acid) is mad (bipolar) because she can’t eat carbs (carbamazepine) in her lambo (lamotrigine) without triggering a seizure
I am suffering from bipolar for 10 years doctor have given me resperidone olanzapine arpiprazole divalporex 500 but no use no improvement please suggest
This video is geared towards nurse and nursing students… but we do have a new video series called “Ask a Nurse”, which is intended for the general public and patients. I am careful to not use medical jargon there. 👍
