Hey dude I love your tips, I haven't tried them cause I'm in bed and this is my first Time watching but once I get up ima try these. So keep up the good work!😀
My Go to move is the in and out move, then to a right to left crossover, then i like to finish at the rim with a Eurostep layup or Hopstep layup. Great video, I am a point guard so this is very useful.
hey! im in argentina, and iv been playing basket ball for only 3 years , my first 2 season i was just another player, but the past off season i found your videos and your baller boot camp free workout and started tranning 2 times harder then y ever work on basketball tranning, and now this season im the go to guy on my school varsity team (im a freshmen) so y just wanted to say thanks for macking these videos keep it up! ps. my go to move is cost to cost rebound at one end and finish strong at the other. pps. keep on the awsome how to´s! love´n em
Hi Augie, I really appreciate your tutorials and learned a LOT from 'em. :) Spin move is one of my favorites but I'm having hard time executing it as I easily get dizzy. Do you have any suggestion for me to overcome this? Thanks so much man!
Thx alot for this bro i was practicing and now i play with my frinds and 3 of them fell when i did it thx so much bro imma watch all ur vids so i can get alot more better at basketball
Hi :) Your videos are very helpfull for me ! :) But i still need drill for rebounding and center drills.... Can u make Rebound and center drill ? :))) THANK YOU bro :)
Augie man thank you for putting these kids on the tube. As a fat boy trying to compete with my skinnier faster friends I actually have a chance to do something on the offensive side of the ball BC of u. Still can't shoot but your videos have have me some options to go to when attacking the basketball. Thanks man it's greatly appreciated.
hey man can you do a breakdown on the mj post spin baseline move to a prohop. i do this a lot but sometimes they call travel. MJ did this during his early years. they pass the ball to him in the post and as soon as he touches the ball he spins baseline and then execute a prohop. it is so quick even at slow mo. i counted just one dribble.
Hey Augie I'm wondering if it's good to use spin moves in the left/right lanes. I would execute the spin from my left if I'm on the right, for example. Do I cross over to the right during the spin or after the spin?
Subbing, I didn't play basketball in school, but I do have a pretty good jumper, but I think i can learn some more fundamentals to make my shot/game better
Hey Augie, I have been practicing my shooting forum and release but every (well 90%) time I shoot it either misses to the side (10%), hits the part of goal that connects the rim to the back board (30%) or short and hits the rim (50%). And sometimes on the side shot completely goes over. But besides the point it doesn't go in And another question is the move in this video a travel? I know its not but why is it not considered a travel? Please tell me:P Thanks!!!
Yeah its not a travel. When shooting try to eliminate missing short. That is a shooters biggest mistake. After that just find what works for you and how it feels and then try and duplicate it.
Most definitely. I'm guessing you're not going to be as quick as some other players so that can be your biggest obstacle but other than that you can find ways to be just as effective or better than anyone else on the court. My good friend has one arm and is a GREAT baller and I would take him on my team any day!
so when you spin you cannot continue your dribble or is that a different spin move? I hope he can show a full spin move and back into his normal dribble. I'm not very savvy so not sure at all.
Hey Augie, this is a great channel, but I don't like this video because you're teaching people to travel or carry on their spins. In this move you pick up the ball while spinning on your pivot foot (1st step) then jump to your off foot (2nd step), before stepping in with your other leg again (3rd step). If you had continued to dribble afterwards, it would be a carry because of how you cradle the ball as you spin. While I agree that you shouldn't do a crossover before spinning, you should instead start your spin and do a crossover at about the half way point. This way it's safely away from the defence while not being either a travel (thanks to the extra dribble) or a carry (because you don't cradle the ball).
Awesome and helpful video!! Also Requesting for a moving jumpshot and free throw tips in your next videos. Please Also check my pm to you so that you will know how i / we appreciate your videos xD
This is a travel, you place your pivot foot, spin, step with your other foot then bring your pivot foot to your other foot. Explain to me how this isn't a travel. You only have 2 steps..
You don't step with the other foot. U place the pivot foot. That's not a step yet. Then u step into a spin with the other foot, and when u then when u bring ur pivot foot u jump off that
i'm practising this spinmove everyday.i'm following all your tips.and it gives me confidence in the game.thank you augie
My GO TO move is GO TO the kitchen and have some ice-cream. Man, that's unbeatable!
haha, thats funny
thank you so much you and the professor are the only ones that taught me how to spin move properly
Hey dude I love your tips, I haven't tried them cause I'm in bed and this is my first Time watching but once I get up ima try these. So keep up the good work!😀

Thanks for the support T-O. Welcome to Baller Nation.
Thanks Iam trying out for my school team in Monday this helps a lot :-)
My go to move is using the spin move and then hook shot or floater after the spin move. Kind of like Julius Randle's go to move.
Hi Augie, I really appreciate your tutorials and learned a LOT from 'em. :)
Spin move is one of my favorites but I'm having hard time executing it as I easily get dizzy. Do you have any suggestion for me to overcome this? Thanks so much man!
We practice to master things. So as with the dizziness, you have to perform the spin as often as usual to keep you body adapting its dizziness.
Thx alot for this bro i was practicing and now i play with my frinds and 3 of them fell when i did it thx so much bro imma watch all ur vids so i can get alot more better at basketball
sebastian pimentel HAHA NICE! Thanks for watching too!
Hi :) Your videos are very helpfull for me ! :) But i still need drill for rebounding and center drills.... Can u make Rebound and center drill ? :))) THANK YOU bro :)
I really am trying to get around to it. In time I will.
Baller Boot Camp thank you :) respect
Augie man thank you for putting these kids on the tube. These vids*** not kids. Lol but thank s
my go to move is the floater..being 5'10" playing in Brooklyn is a BIG disadvantage! so i taught myself that move
Thats clutch, and so many NBA players make a career out of it (Tony Parker)
Can you make a video about how to properly run the pick and roll?
Sure I will that is a great idea
Thanks! Corrected this mistake during practice games...
Tamoto Katoteshikuari very nice!
Hey augie could upload a video helping improve vertical thanks a lot man and jeep up the good work.
I will very soon. I am bringing in an expert though.

Cool! Killer combo.
Can You Make A Video On How Kyrie Irving Does The Double Behind The Back Crossover?
This is like my favorite move for a one on one fastbreak
Hey Augie I'm wondering if it's good to use spin moves in the left/right lanes. I would execute the spin from my left if I'm on the right, for example. Do I cross over to the right during the spin or after the spin?
Chaz Hirales You can do it either way, after or before the spin. as long as ur spin keeps you away from the baseline you've traversed.
Wait didn't u say in the video if I do it before it's bad ball handling?
great tips ! Definitely will try that out ;)
After doing the spin move and going straight into a jump shot can you give a fake and then step through and then shoot.
Will it be a travel
Subbing, I didn't play basketball in school, but I do have a pretty good jumper, but I think i can learn some more fundamentals to make my shot/game better
Yeah man I hope the videos help you out. It always feels good to play well :)
Thank you man!!! You earned subscribe!
Can you make a video on how to defend a post?
Sure that's a good idea.
Can you please do a video on how to beat a defender when your coming down the lane on a fast break
Normally you just use any blow by move, but I can break it down in a video.
Please do! Thank you so much
Thank you so much this has helped me greatly
can i asked how many weeks or months that it takes to really improve my dribbling skill
im a lefthander is it possible to do some vidz with your left hand ??
Yeah I can do that. Just remember everything I do with my right can be applied to your left as well.
Another good video, thanks bro.
No problem, Thanks for the comment I really appreciate you taking the 5 seconds to do that.
Augie coach, I use your spin move, and really useful. But sb told me this spin move is travel. is he correct ? plz tell me
thank you coach
no he is wrong.
This move creates alot of space between the defense and me so its easy to get a shot off.
for the killer combo drill should I master it or just do it once than move on to the next drill ??
Just do it and move on. But over the span of 2 months you should notice your starting to master it.
When I pull a spin move and attack the basket people say I'm carrying could you show an example of carrying the ball and doing it like the pro's.
Hold in horizontally, not vertically :) Practice it SAM, watch the video carefully :) You can do it!
thanks man, i will work on it more and thanks for these videos keep it up they are very fun and interesting.
Can you do a video on how to block a shot because everytime i try to block a shotbi foul the shooter
The key is to go straight up.
Thanx
I walk a lot and I want to improve my ball handling while i am walking . what are the best dribbles to practice? Sorry for my English
Do alot of left hand dribbling
Hey Augie,
I have been practicing my shooting forum and release but every (well 90%) time I shoot it either misses to the side (10%), hits the part of goal that connects the rim to the back board (30%) or short and hits the rim (50%). And sometimes on the side shot completely goes over. But besides the point it doesn't go in
And another question is the move in this video a travel? I know its not but why is it not considered a travel? Please tell me:P
Thanks!!!
because he keeps his pivot foot planted so its not a travel
Yeah its not a travel. When shooting try to eliminate missing short. That is a shooters biggest mistake. After that just find what works for you and how it feels and then try and duplicate it.
HEY AUGIE
MAY I ASK YOU, REALLY WHAT IS THE SECRET TO A GREAT CROSSOVER?
Hey man I just wanted to know, after you finish the spin move can you still dribble? Or do you have to shoot it?
Yes you can still dribble for sure!
hardaway corssover.... but i messup sometimes
Augie can I be a baller because I have a prosthetic leg and I really love the game of basketball
Most definitely. I'm guessing you're not going to be as quick as some other players so that can be your biggest obstacle but other than that you can find ways to be just as effective or better than anyone else on the court. My good friend has one arm and is a GREAT baller and I would take him on my team any day!
Awesome video
Thanks alot Jose.
I was wondering if I could use this in a league without getting called for travel
Yes u can. As long as u do it properly and fast
Traveling is what you really have to worry about it's getting called with a carry because sometimes you can accidentally cuff the ball.
Nice video..... but every time i do this move the either call a travel or a carry plz help..
Curt Reynolds Hmmm, if you do it like this video it won't be a travel.
When do you use this move
so when you spin you cannot continue your dribble or is that a different spin move? I hope he can show a full spin move and back into his normal dribble. I'm not very savvy so not sure at all.
Yes you can continue to dribble or just pick up the ball and shoot.
Thanks man gotta try it out.
How many drills a day should I practice and for how long
90 minutes a day and as many drills as you can fit into that time.
hey deRozan spin moves too

Repeat it always. U can master it sometime

Help me on the hesitation

somebody said to take small steps
Fadeaway
KBTITAN24 Good idea, thanks.
This way it's safely away from the defence while not being either a travel (thanks to the extra dribble) or a carry (because you don't cradle the ball).
cool
is that traveling?
Nope. Have the ball grabbed sideways
Baller Boot Camp u didn't say anything about planting ur feet... or did u?

This is a travel, you place your pivot foot, spin, step with your other foot then bring your pivot foot to your other foot. Explain to me how this isn't a travel. You only have 2 steps..
You don't step with the other foot. U place the pivot foot. That's not a step yet. Then u step into a spin with the other foot, and when u then when u bring ur pivot foot u jump off that
hesitation
